Ting at lave i Dali

We planned about 30% of our Yunnan trip on our own and booked this tour for the rest of our journey from Dali to Lijiang and Shangri-La. Our tour advisor, Sally, was incredibly patient, and responsive. She answered all of our questions before the trip, and two days before departure we were added to a WeChat group with Sally and our driver, which made communication very easy throughout the trip. A special thank you to our driver, Mr. He Guo Zheng, who truly made our journey even more enjoyable. He was always punctual and constantly checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable. His kindness and attentiveness made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. The scenery throughout the trip was absolutely breathtaking. Every destination had something unique to offer, from majestic mountains and peaceful lakes to charming old towns.

Guide 茶金 was very friendly. We gave a list of places we wanted to go to, and he arranged it accordingly. He gave us our own time to explore places, and did not rush us. He even gave us some good suggestions on where to go for eg coffee at wenbi village, and brought us to a lunch place along the way (which was very yummy) as we had no idea where to go. He took us to some photo shots along the way, and shared his knowledge of Yunnan with us. It was an enjoyable trip!

We booked for 3 pax for April 2026. 7 others joined us to make up the group. Itenery covered as mentioned with sufficient free time given to explore the places we visited. Klook handled the picking up from the Train Station on Arrival to sending us to the Airport for Departure, promptly and timely at our schedule. Kudos. In this respect, hats off to the coordinator Winnie (小小舟) for doing the planning work for us. She had patience and guided us along from the point we made contact, enquired about packages, the details in between, to our booking, arrival and departure effortlessly. For the tour, we travelled on the same vehicle throughout our journey. For the first 3 days of the tour, we had an amicable and pleasant guide with the name 杨雪梅. We knew at once she had passion for this job. Thanks for the great photos & good angles despite the crowds and also information that helped us appreciate our tour better. The next 3 days, Maka was our guide. He was loud but respectful & helpful.

Rejselederen er meget professionel. Ankom til mødestedet før mødetidspunktet. Transporten under hele rejsen var meget rummelig og komfortabel. Transporten mellem byerne involverede højhastighedstoget. Rejseselskabet bookede et passende og komfortabelt sæde under hele HSR-rejsen fra Kunming til Dali og derefter fra Lijiang tilbage til Kunming. Hotellerne, der blev booket af rejseselskabet, er også meget komfortable og tæt på seværdighederne. Sammenfattende vil jeg give det 9,0 ud af 10.

Yunnan-rejsepakken var rimelig tilfredsstillende, selvom rejseplanen kun var moderat organiseret. Destinationerne var interessante, og rejselederen var venlig, men kunne ikke tale engelsk; selv grundlæggende engelsk ville hjælpe internationale rejsende. Der blev udleveret gratis billetter til Spruce Meadow, mens et besøg i Jade Dragon Snow Mountain krævede ombytning af billetter mod et ekstra gebyr. Dette blev ikke håndteret tidligt, hvilket forhindrede mig i at nå toppen. Måltider var gratis, men der var ingen halal-muligheder. Som muslimsk rejsende forstår jeg det, men forbedringer ville give muslimske rejsende mulighed for at deltage mere komfortabelt. Samlet set var oplevelsen tilfredsstillende, men bedre billetstyring, halal-måltidsmuligheder, rejseplanlægning og grundlæggende engelskkundskaber for guider ville gøre pakken mere rejsevenlig.

The itinerary was flawless — no rushing at all. My English speaking tour guide took the time to explain Dali’s history and patiently answered all my questions. My favorite parts were visiting the local morning market, exploring the variety of fresh fruits and seafood from different communities, and the tie-dye experience with the local grandma. Highly recommend this experience!

Klook-organized my trip to Kunming, Dali, and Lijiang areas was a pleasure, especially the hotel provided was very nice. Lunch was still standard. The tour leaders in Kunming, Ms. Tang Ling, and Mr. Chang TL Lijiang were very adept at providing a lot of information about the culture and life of Chinnese minority communities. We had a fantastic morning at a family-owned tea plantation, where we were warmly welcomed by the host, 兰姐. Our guide, 香姐, was incredibly patient as she taught us the art of picking tea leaves. We even got to experience the process of drying and kneading the leaves afterwards. The entire experience was both educational and enjoyable. I highly recommend this activity! location:
