Snow Viewing Rafting in Jozankei

Really amazing experience to have. Had a great guide that showed us a wonderful time. Cruising down the river was awesome. We stopped for abit and they guide cooked us a marshow squished between biscuits and a cup of tea. Afterwards we had to go back up the river but it was upstream so the guide had to pull the raft with us on it back up. Cool once in a lifetime experience that I would highly recommend to others!

Winter weather rafting is too cold for an inexperience person like me, it was around -6 degrees and my hands were frozen for taking off my gloves to take scenic pictures. They grill marshmellow and the hot tea was super refreshing in the cold weather!

I highly recommend this activity if you love nature and scenic views. The guide, Ume-san, was very friendly and is able to speak in English and Japanese. The whole experience was very memorable and only requires you to paddle for a little bit and just take in the breathtaking views around you. All in all it was very relaxing, lots of phototaking opportunities and Ume-san will even fly a drone to capture videos and photos you can buy after the tour if you're interested.

The scenery is beautiful, but safety needs to be considered. During the rafting process, due to the fast current, the boat turned upside down and moved in the direction of the water flow. When it was upside down, I couldn't see the branches in the direction of the forward direction and couldn't avoid it. Then I was caught. I hit the water and climbed back on the boat, but my hands and feet were a little bit frostbitten. The scenery was really beautiful. I hope to remove the branches in some places to avoid my case. The water boat will instead use a motor or electric boat to move forward. It would be better so that every guest does not need to hold a paddle and can focus more on the safety situation around them. If we talk about the scenery, this is the best project. Don’t let people not want to go because of me. As long as you pay attention to safety, this is still a very good project with the best scenery. Although my hands and feet were frostbitten at the time, luckily my phone was waterproof. I still took some beautiful photos. The scenery under the light snow at that time was also very beautiful. Finally, I attached the beautiful photos taken at that time for everyone to enjoy. In addition, the waiter at the time also arranged to send me back, and the service was also good.

I actually did not managed to go to the activity becuase my child was sick that morning. The operator called me but could not speak English. He then emailed me and I emailed him back try to find another slot, unfortunately there was no other timing on that day. Upon coming back Klook actually refunded me! Best service award Klook!
