From your hotel, your morning or afternoon adventure begins at Duoliang Station on the South-Link Line of Taiwan Railway. Located in Taimali Township, the station ended its service in 2006 and now serves as a popular tourist attraction. With its entire platform directly facing the Pacific Ocean and the dreamlike view of train coming out of cave, railway enthusiasts have named Duoliang Station as the most beautiful train station in Taiwan. Next stop is the Sunrise Driftwood Workshop where you can see how craftsment from local Paiwan tribes take advantage of the abundant supply of driftwood washing up on the shores of Taitung because of recurrent typhoons. With the growing popularity of driftwood arts and furniture worldwide, more young driftwood artists in the region are being encouraged to take parting. You’ll also get to visit Millennium Memorial Park which was established in 2000 after a countdown concert. The park has resting pavillions, walking trails, and even a beach football field. Your tour concludes with a visit to a Huayuan Bay, tucked away along the South-Link Line, for a relaxing ocean view.

Many things for taking pictures in Huayuan Bay were gone, such as the blue and white slippers. There was nothing to take pictures of when we got there. The driver said it was because of the typhoon. So I feel very sad and a little disappointed. However, I am still very satisfied with Tara Station and Taimali Station, both places are beautiful!
The driver responsible for this trip is Mr. Luo. He is funny and humorous. He carefully introduced the scenic spots and their origins along the way, and gave us a lot of new science knowledge. I highly recommend this trip!
On a hot summer day, sit in a comfortable air-conditioned car, listen to the detailed explanation of the tour guide, and arrive at the destination without worrying about parking, time, and taking pictures happily, leaving a lot of memories.

Fun and easy going trip. Mr Luo (driver) is very friendly and explained a lot along the journey. He even drop us at night market on the way back.
