The sightseeing flight is definitely worth it. The view of the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef is breathtaking. The pilot explained to us where we were and told us other exciting things.
A bit oricey but definitely worth it. Seeing the Whitsundays from above is a must, or if you don't have time for a full day tour to the islands, do consider this. One of the highlights of our trip!

I love every second of it and I love the fact that the pilot tell us in advance and tell us the story or background behind each area. I also love the transfer driver, he is very friendly and helpful by suggesting places for us to go and point out the way for us to walk back.
