Gili Kondo, Gili Bidara, and Gili Petagan Snorkeling Tour in Lombok

Since we were in west Lombok, it was a long drive up and down, but the experience was good. Even though the driver and the boatman were not fluent in English, they were very helpful throughout the trip, good natured, and eager to communicate. As a whole, it was a good trip. Beware of the total time, if you're starting from sengigi area though.

Very pleasant trip, the scenery is also very beautiful, the guide and driver are very professional, the whole tour group only my boyfriend and I two people, there are 2-3 times snorkeling, the sea water is very clear, recommend everyone to come!

Our guide, Sardi, drove very smoothly and safely. The boat we took was large and clean. The Gili Islands off the east coast of East Lombok are completely different from the bustling, party-centric Gili Trawangan and the other two islands to the west. This area feels like an "undeveloped, hidden paradise," without excessive commercial facilities. The islands are small and pristine, and often you'll find only a few groups of people on an entire beach. It truly feels like you have a tropical, uninhabited island all to yourself. I highly recommend the three East Gili Islands.

It was a great experience. Although the journey was long, it was totally worth it. There were basically no tourists here, and the snorkeling clarity was very high and the sea water was very clean. The types and number of fish were spectacular, and the instructor was very patient in escorting. The snorkeling time could also be longer, and the color of the coral was very gorgeous. Several islands have their own characteristics. The only thing is that there is no fresh water for bathing, so friends who need it can bring a few more bottles of water. The colors of the beach and the sea are extremely beautiful, and you can overlook Mount Rinjani. The driver is helpful, careful and kind.

I had the pleasure of experiencing an exceptional snorkeling tour guided by Mizar. He made sure we were happy and comfortable the whole time. The tour, one of the best I've ever had, offered a genuine and raw exploration of the beauty of the Gili Islands. The delicious food and enjoyable car ride with good music and snacks added to the overall delightful experience. Mizar's insights into the local culture enriched the journey, leaving me eager to return on my next visit.

It was a fantastic experience! It took about 2 hours to get there from Kuta, but it was absolutely worth it. The water was very clean, and we could still see many colorful corals while snorkeling, though many have already bleached. Our driver and guide, Dicky, was incredibly nice. He snorkeled with us and stayed close to ensure our safety. The boat captain also joined us for snorkeling. Overall, it was a great experience, with no downsides except for the distance.

Went during the rainy season, the sky was a little overcast, so it wasn't obvious in the photos, but the sea was very clear to the naked eye. The driver's English wasn't very fluent, but he was very cheerful and had a hearty laugh. For areas where communication was difficult, translation software worked smoothly. Haixinsha is beautiful, it's best to have the captain stop the boat a little further away and then help you take pictures from the sea towards the sand, which gives you more of a feeling of being in the center of the ocean. At Bidara Island, the coral reef is about 5 meters away from the shore.

The guide and the boatman were all very kind and helpful👍It was a day trip from Senggigi, so it was a shame that we couldn't relax because the travel took so long. The cottages on the beach leading to the island were clean, the food was delicious, and the price was reasonable✨If we stayed there, we could relax by the sea😊The water was very clear👍There were lots of soft corals and fish🐟 in the shallows, and the fish didn't run away even when we got close✨There were a few jellyfish🪼, so it's a good idea to bring jellyfish repellent lotion. If you're lucky, you might be able to touch leatherback turtles that are sometimes protected on the beach leading to the island😆

Overall, it was a wonderful tour. The pick-up and drop-off were on time, and our driver and guide, Alex, was very cheerful and attentive. Lunch is not included, so it's a good idea to bring sandwiches or other food. However, even if you forget, he'll stop at a convenience store along the way, so you can buy something there. The ocean water was incredibly clear, blue, and beautiful, and the sandy beach was pure white powder. We saw many blue, green, and pink corals, as well as cute tropical fish. You can experience a deserted tropical island just like you see in videos. I highly recommend it to everyone.

This snorkeling trip was very fulfilling and enjoyable. We are especially grateful to our guide, Muhardi, for taking care of everything—from driving, helping us with communication, to arranging the itinerary—with great attention to detail. Muhardi’s photography skills are outstanding. He also showed us many interesting and adorable shells and sea creatures, which truly amazed us and made the experience so much fun! I’m from Taiwan, and I found this experience very beginner-friendly for anyone trying snorkeling for the first time. While some of the corals near the shore are a bit bleached, just a little farther out the scenery is stunning, with plenty of fish and vibrant corals. What we enjoyed the most was jumping straight off the boat and snorkeling in the middle of the sea, where we could freely swim and admire the beautiful ocean views and corals. We highly recommend this to anyone visiting Lombok who wants to go snorkeling but would prefer to avoid the crowded Gili ATM island.
