Reviews
Amazing tour. Our driver Mr. Andimiko was very nice and accomodating, he also gave very good recommendations. Every single area we went to was breathtaking. For the Pindul Caves, there was an option to pay an extra 200,000 IDR per person to explore another cave via rowing. It was very much worth it if you ask me. 🙏🏼👍🏽
1st stop was the cave but we didn't go go for the tubing but top up ard $15sgd for a cave tour with guide. Guide spoke very good English and took good photo! the cave is really submerged in water and is pitch dark when all man made lights is off. its safe as helmet and life jacket is provided. as for the hill and cliff, it was raining and foggy so its not very scenic. but there are times the clouds made way for us haha! the structure are pretty ok but need to be very careful and slow to walk. perfect for Instagram pic when weather is good. our driver is super nice and friendly!! brought us to places that we wanted haha and good cheap food! it was an amazing experience! we skip the beach because it is raining .. but its ok the cave is already worth the value! love every activity 💕 ❤️
Agung (AG for All Good) was our guide. He was friendly and warm, speaks good English and is able to cater the tour to our interests and needs. The extra place he brought us to see sunset (out of the itinerary) was so beautiful! 🌄 He also connects with the other guides well and ensures we are well taken care of. 🤝For the photo enthusiasts, his use of a drone to take beautiful pictures 📸 is a bonus! The itinerary as a whole was well paced and activities are fun! Should have brought 2 changes of clothes instead of 1 since i was sandboarding after cave tubing and cliff jumping. Really enjoyed ourselves and glad to have AG taking care of us.
topped up IDR130K to do Oya River tubing. both pindul and oya were pretty slow paced, don’t expect an adrenaline rush unless you jump off oya’s cliffs. sandboarding was super fun! Naro was my driver and was amazing even if his English wasn’t the best
The trip was amazing! started of from pindul cave water tubing followed by pinus pengger and temblelang cliff. As it was raining our driver/guide was flexible to change the itinerary based on where we wanna go! shout out to our driver/guide Andi!!! also to our pindul cave guide! she was awesome putting 110% effort so that we have a great time!
Our driver is Miko and he speaks some English. He’s very friendly and chatty. Our day began at 9am and after about it an hour ride we arrived at Tembelang Cliff. There are several photo spots here with the most iconic one being the “sampan” stretching out to the cliff. Next we then moved to Pinus Pengger. Another site filled with photo spots. We learnt from Miko that Pinus means pine trees. Pinus Pengger is quite a huge area and there are photographers stationed at most sight to help you take photos. They charge about 2000-3000Rp per photo if you want to buy the softcopy from them. The most iconic photo spot would have to be the open palm against the backdrop of Jogja city. We took about half an hour car ride to the next destination Pindul cave. Included in this package is a tubing experience through the cave where you get to see crystal formations, colony of bats hanging from the top, stalagmites and stalactites. You would be able to engage a personal photographer before commencement of the activity at additional cost. Go the adventurous, you can also try jumping off from 3m high into the lagoon while inside the cave. Most part of the cave is illuminated by light from outside except for the middle section which is darker but not pitch black. After the caving, we added on an activity at 100k Rp each for tubing along Oyo River. Definitely recommend to top up or purchase this activity in advance as it was more exciting/fun than the caving. You get to float along the river on your tube, moving along with the rapids. Along the way you get to see mini waterfalls. For the thrill seekers you can also cliff jump from a height of 5m and 10m. Towards the end of the river, you are encouraged to swim in the river if you enjoy doing so! You will get wet for this activity and please bring a change of clothes and also waterproof your accessories (handphone/camera). There is shower facilities available for wash ups at 5000 Rp per person. After our tubing, it started pouring. We waited for the rain to subside before going for lunch at a restaurant recommended by Miko. The ayam goreng was superb. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. As it was still pouring, we decided to give the sand boarding and beach a miss as it would be very unlikely for us to get a go at sand boarding. We returned to Jogja city after the late lunch. Miko was apologetic about the weather and kept apologising to us but he shouldn’t be as the weather was outside of his control. We appreciate his polite and thoughtful demeanour. He also joked with us throughout the trip. When we arrived at our hotel, Miko informed us that he feedback to the agency and was advised to refund us a portion of the money we paid as we did not get to visit the beach and do sand boarding. Appreciate them for the kind gesture. Overall, we definitely recommend this activity and Miko!
Our trip was splendid! Our supir, Pak Miko was an excellent tour guide throughout the trip. We started off the journey by visiting the Pindul Cave. Since my partner and I is not keen of getting wet, we choose to write the boat instead. So we added 150k rupiah for the ride and explore Gua Tanding. The cave exploration was great, the so called lights of heaven would be even great during noon but the view we got was good enough. Next, we went to Pinus Pengger and Tembelang Cliff for some nice photos. Both places had nice photo spots overlooking the greens and city of Jogja. Please expect little hike at Pinus Pengger and stairs at Tembelang Cliff. We stopped for lunch at ayam penyet place and this is the first best food we had in Jogja after 2 days here. Pak Miko definitely knows where to get the best food in town! Our final stop is Gumuk Pasir and Pantai Parangtritis. Would love to enjoy sandboarding but eventually the sandboarding was not available during our visit so we opt for ATV ride instead. The sand was a bit thick so it was pretty hard to ride the ATV for such a beginner like me 😅 The wind was so strong so we had tough time fighting over sand dust so we decided not to stay at the place for long. But the view indeed, beautiful! The whole trip starts at 9am and ends at 5pm. My sincere thanks to Pak Miko for his kind hospitality!
the entire trip was pleasant & enjoyable. we hired a photographer to take photos for us during the pindul tubing so we could focus on the surrounding & enj the trip. opted additional for the oya river (not incl). hubs got to do a few cliff jumps fr pindul & oya. it's fun. suggest wearing long sleeves & tights to avoid sun burn.
Everthing went smoothly and I had enjoyed myself through out the activities.
our second trip was driven by uncle miko. the trip very enjoyable and relaxing. uncle miko very friendly with us and suggested many places to eat around jogja. we are having fun at pindul cave and other places too.
