Small groups are really much more comfortable without having to wait around for each other. Katsio-ji Temple was a little smaller than expected, but very peaceful, which is perfect for a leisurely stroll. The scenery along the scenic train ride was nice, though the ride itself wasn't very long. Arashiyama was very crowded, but we could just manage our own free time. The driver was quite nice and even helped give directions on the way back. Overall, there were no unpleasant surprises, and the price is quite reasonable.
The biggest advantage of this tour is that you don't have to drive yourself or transfer buses, as they pick you up directly from the hotel, which is great for people who don't want to do any planning. The environment at Katsuo-ji Temple is serene, and the vast array of Daruma dolls is quite spectacular. The scenery along the romantic train section is stunning, and walking along the gorge is truly beautiful. In Arashiyama, you have free time to explore, shop, or take photos however you like. The driver was very nice and provided all the necessary information along the way. Overall, it was a smooth experience with no unpleasant surprises.
The driver arrived at the hotel on time for pickup, which saved a lot of trouble. Katsuo-ji Temple is quite interesting, with rows of Daruma dolls displayed, making for great photos. The scenic train tickets were included. The pace throughout the day was reasonable and not too tiring.
The driver provided great service, the car was very clean, and the tour activities were arranged quite reasonably. It was a wonderful experience with great value for the price.
The schedule was a bit tight. Two hours of free time in Arashiyama to grab a bite and walk through the bamboo grove was just about right. Overall, it was pretty good and well-suited for people who don't want to plan their own itinerary.
The driver's arrangement of the entire sightseeing schedule was extremely poor. We were only given 80 minutes at Katsuo-ji Temple. Throughout the entire process, the driver provided no introduction to the attractions and did not arrange any time for us to have lunch. There were only 4 guests in our tour group, and all of us were visiting Katsuo-ji and the other attractions for the first time. The experience was extremely poor. I have frequently booked through Klook in the past, but this time the experience was truly disappointing and upsetting.
