Ijen Blue Fire Hiking Tour from Bali

Yanto our guide, as well as our drivers Hendra and Dewa were fantastic!! They spoke fantastic english and were very enthusiastic, maybe the experience wonderful. Yanto was very proactive in helping us climb Ijen, helping us over some harder terrains and even finding the blue fire for us when he didn’t even have a gas mask himself, and he bought fried banana and tauhu isi for us with his own money! The drivers were fantastic as well, they drove safely, stopping when we needed a toilet break/lunch break, and there was no smoking in the car at all which was a huge plus for me. overall fantastic experience and we couldn’t thank the locals more

I came to this trip alone, booking with Klook is very safe. They have the completed service from picking up at the hotel, go to ferry with you for the first time, and manage for finding the local guide. The guide and drivers are very experience and aware of your safety as priority. Worth to try and best service ever with the service-minded crews. The view is very beautiful and memorable.

Yanto was the guide for our trek and let me tell you he is the best guide anyone can wish for! He’s very helpful, very kind and was very compassionate and cooperative throughout the trek. A special shout-out to Adi, who is a truly phenomenal guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the Ijen area, its geology, and the best way to safely experience the blue flames. His enthusiasm and experience made a challenging trek feel manageable and deeply rewarding. I wholeheartedly recommend booking this tour hoping you get Adi as your guide! This was a once in a lifetime experience but it's not for the faint of heart. Thankfully we had a great guide that stayed with us and made sure we got up and down the volcano safely. This tour also included stops on the way to Java and we enjoyed all of them, so we definitely recommend this activity for people who are in decent shape.

Highly recommended! Mt. Ijen was unforgettable thanks to the amazing team behind our hike. 🥇1st & forever favorite: Yanto, our local guide. He is simply the best! He’s fun, thoughtful, and constantly checked in on us—“Tell me ohkeeeey! Dame un grrr!” 😂 He encouraged us during breaks, celebrated how far we’d come, and shared stories about the sulfur miners, the Lamborghini drivers who work with joy despite the harsh conditions. At 4AM, when we thought we’d missed the blue flame, Yanto made sure we didn’t. He took amazing photos and vids, even while struggling to breathe and keep his eyes open in the sulfur fumes. 🚗 2nd: Lexza, who picked us up on time from our villa, let us grab drive-thru dinner, and drove us 4 hours to Ketapang Harbour. She waited until our hike ended the next day and shared her life stories with us—so warm and fun! 🚗 3rd: Cahyo, who drove us to Paltuding, helped with ferry tickets, and made sure we rested well post-hike.
