Snorkeling Experience in Nusa Penida (3-4 Snorkeling Spots)

We booked this trip for the 15/06/26 and it did not disappoint. it is 100% value for money. The level of detail with the booking from start to finish, we started the day being picked up from our hotel on the island, has a safety Briefing were the staff were lovely and made you feel welcome from the start. we chose to get a private tour and our guide Opan was incredible, so friendly, really calming, funny and was very patient. He made our experience what it was. We didn’t see any mantrays which was unfortunate but they are wild animals and you can’t always expect to see them which we new at the time of booking. However we were lucky that we got to see a turtle that our guide went in search for us. He also took all our footage so we could just enjoy the experience. this alone made up for not seeing the rays. our captain krunchung was also very friendly. the service at the end providing refreshment was such a lovely touch. I had a loooot of fun and had an incredibly amazing time snorkeling with them! all the staff are so nice and lovely. They always making sure how you feel and trying to meet your needs. This was my friend’s first time swimming in the sea, she was a little bit nervous but also feeling extremely good because we did see Manta (soooo close) and sea turtle baby!!!!

It was a fantastic experience, from the hotel pickup by the driver to the island staff's transfers and all the speedboat crew, everyone was incredibly welcoming. We snorkeled at four different locations and were very lucky to see a manta ray – truly a wonderful experience! I highly recommend that anyone prone to motion sickness take medication beforehand. The lunch provided after the activity was at a beautiful hotel facing the sea, where the pool was free to use and the food was delicious. The staff were exceptionally friendly. This trip is definitely worth recommending.

They take care of you from pick up to drop off and everything in between. Great experience to see the underwater and swim with manta ray! Amazing day!

highly reccomend, this was an amazing snorkelling experience, the guides made sure we seen a manta ray at mata point which was awesome! They were great, seen them helping others that couldn’t swim so good. Hiring the gopro is a great addition as you get all your personal photos aswell as the photos the guides take of you sent through WhatsApp. All the spots were lovely, would definitely book again!

Worth it for the tour, but y’all others need to respect wildlife!!! 😭 I actually saw a manta ray on 25/06/26 and it was pure magic. Huge, elegant, and swimming right by us multiple times. Pro tip: book the morning slot. We also spotted 2 turtles! Pros: 4 different sites, healthy corals, and cheap 100k pickup and drop-off. The guide was great energy - the super fit, tanned one - I forgot his name. He helped everyone to the best of his abilities. Clean boat. Cons: Non-swimmers thrashing and screaming from other groups, and a bald dude from another group literally trying to touch the manta and turtles!!! OMG it was so annoying. Leave wild animals alone. Stop feeding fish, and operators/authorities please protect these animals before they stop coming for good. Arjuna Beach Club washrooms are really gross and need a complete re-do. Overall: Worth it for me because of the luck, but PLEASE only book if you can actually swim and respect nature!!! 🌊

I absolutely loved my snorkeling activity! Sabare, Fibri, Annik, and Kadek are amazing people! I highly recommend this activity; they are attentive, patient, and take the time to reassure you if needed. They give us all the time we need to take photos and have a great time. I thank them infinitely for this incredible morning that I will never forget! 😇😇😇😇

I made a last-minute reservation the night before, and I'm so glad I was able to book it. We had a really fun time! Just in case, be sure to take motion sickness medicine or apply a patch before you go! I was fine, but my husband got really bad motion sickness and had a hard time ㅠㅠ. The snorkeling course started with the manta ray spot, and then we experienced 3 more spots. It's really deep sea, but we were able to safely enjoy the deep sea and beautiful fishes because we had life jackets! It was a truly mesmerizing and fantastic experience!! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. However, the outdoor shower facilities and restrooms were a bit poor, and when you get off the shared boat at Penida Island, you have to find your way to the snorkeling office, which was a little confusing since everyone isn't in the same group. But they shared the location on Google Maps in the itinerary I received via WhatsApp the day before, so you can follow that. It was a truly unforgettable memory 😎🩵.

The service here was absolutely outstanding — five stars aren’t enough to describe it! 🌟 I compared quite a few options before choosing this one, and I’m so glad I did. From the hotel pickup to the harbor transfer and finally to the snorkeling counter, someone guided us every step of the way. We were so lucky to see four manta rays and three sea turtles in one trip — all thanks to our amazing guide! 🐢✨ He even took lots of great photos for us. 📸

I was incredibly lucky to see manta rays, and then we went to four snorkeling spots. That morning felt a bit cloudy, but as soon as we set out to sea, the weather became exceptionally clear. The whole boat was filled with cheerful laughter and excitement. Experience: The only downside was the very large waves. Also, the diesel fumes from the local diesel vehicle were strong, and the big waves made many people seasick. Basically, the whole boat was throwing up. Safety: There are life jackets available, and you can choose to wear one. Even non-swimmers can get in the water. You can even go without fins. There's only one boat operator and one safety officer/rescuer on board, who is also the photographer. He takes underwater videos and sends them to you afterward. There are videos but no pictures, which is really, really great! Experience: Overall, the experience was very good. I'm probably in relatively good shape, so I didn't get very seasick. I also twisted my ankle that day, but I still went into the water and met a great photographer who was also a lifeguard. He helped me take a lot of photos, and there were small bread pieces for me to feed the fish, which was very fun. He was also very kind and enthusiastic, constantly encouraging me to get in the water. He held my hand the whole time I was in the water, which was a great, great experience. Equipment: I brought my own new snorkel mouthpiece, but I didn't have time to change it, and I didn't really know how, so I used the local equipment. The local equipment felt okay. There was also plenty of tape. It was good enough to meet the basic snorkeling needs. I will come again next time! Even though I threw up, I don't regret it at all! Instructor: The instructor was really great! I really liked him. He was enthusiastic, kind, and encouraging, providing emotional support. In the end, I tipped him. I liked him very much.
