Reviews
Because each location is far away, the stay at each attraction is relatively short. Fortunately, Tiangong is a beautiful place. The weather was good all day long, making the trip smooth. In addition, I won the second and third prizes in a lottery for 500 yen at the winery. One of the prizes is Otaru’s special red wine🍷You might as well try your luck.
The price-performance ratio is not high. The scenery is beautiful. The time description is wrong. Klook wrote that the sightseeing time at Cape Kamui is one hour, but when we arrived at the site, it was only 30 minutes. The travel agency said that Klook wrote it wrong. Older people can only walk to the forbidden door and take two photos before returning. If you have strong athletic ability, you can go forward, but the time is too short and you can't walk to the end. Lunch is ok and well arranged. The time is too short. If you come back, you will arrive at the station at 4.40. If you want to play more at Cape Kamui, it is not recommended.
You can get to many places you want to go at a very favorable price, and you can also eat very fresh sea urchin rice, which feels great
Very good. Although I don't understand Japanese, as long as I know the time each time I get on the bus, there is no problem in communication. The seafood rice is great value and very fresh!
The tour guide had no problem communicating in English and explained carefully. The Shakotan Peninsula is really a remote place, and it’s really convenient to be able to take a day trip with a group.
Started from Sapporo city, slow drive to have lunch at Iida, the lunch was super sumptuous and delicious. seafood was so fresh and yummy. One can try the sake here. the three colours tasting set is worthwhile. For Cape Kamui, one will need to walk on a faster paste if intend to see the Rock and the end of the cape as time allocated is not sufficient for a slow stroll while enjoying the beautiful scenery. This trip will pass by Nika Distillery, Candles rock and the Otaru canal enroute.
Pick up and drop off by large tour bus, very comfortable! The paella was very fresh and delicious, it was the highlight of the entire trip! The Shakotan Peninsula is very beautiful and worth visiting. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough time and we have to rush back. It is recommended to reserve a little more time so that guests can walk to the end to see the lighthouse! The tour guide mainly introduces in Japanese and English is average. Foreign tourists can only sleep if they don't understand it😅!
It was my first time to join a local group and it felt good. Although it was overcast, it didn't rain. The scenery we saw when we arrived at the scenic spot was also good. The seasonal fish was very delicious and the bowls were huge.
Bus left late waiting for two people to show up. We didn’t realise it was a public holiday so lots of traffic. Guide gave lots of information in Japanese but only a couple of words in English. Places we visited were beautiful, but rushed and we were told we couldn’t walk to the end of the cape because they cut our tour short. Lunch was delicious.
The attractions of Cape Kamui and Shimabui Coast are five-star in themselves. But in terms of itinerary, I think it would be better to go to Cape Kamui in the morning, maybe there will be fewer people than in the afternoon. The tour guide is average, but the advantage is that she waited at the meeting point very early, which made me feel at ease when I arrived early. But her English is not good enough, and many of the things she said in Japanese were not said in English. However, the main value of signing up for this tour is transportation, because Cape Kamui is inconvenient to transport. Lunch is very good. Although I couldn't order sea urchin rice (there seemed to be only 8 places for sea urchin rice for this tour group), the seafood rice was also delicious, and there were also a few slices of sea urchin in it. I ate at a B&B, which has a very atmospheric feeling. I have the opportunity to stay there. We were unlucky. After arriving at Cape Kamui in the afternoon, the woman's door that was forbidden to enter was closed due to the strong wind, and we could not walk to the tip of the island. It was cloudy all day. Cape Kamui and Shimabui are better on sunny days. You need to fight for your luck.
