Managed to ask Smartbus to drop us off near the hotel as it approached the Airport. We dropped opposite the mini BigC minimart. Then, it's a short walk to the hotel. At first, we thought our room TV got problem. When I complained, she offered us another room - we tested the TV - also cannot. As husband away, we needed to wait a while. Finally, we were told all the room TVs were affected ( maybe the satellite supplier problem?) but it was soon rectified. Why we were so concerned in this case about TV - because we wanted to watch TV and not doing anything else ( nothing much to do there except if you are willing to walk to Nai Yang beach ......swim, eat at the beach tables set up by a number of hawker stalls there. As for the night market, please check the days it operate - not everyday. Next morning, as per our request, we were given a free ride to the airport (as for whether this privilege is guaranteed in future, I am not sure.....the owner seemed or might be concerned about future cost as already the accomodation rate is quite reasonable for such a spacious room with pool ( though shared but quite good ) just outside the "french window". We really appreciate the owner lady for driving us to the airport to catch the morning flight. It was real crowded long queues at both Luggage Inspection and later the Immigration Passport Control queue. It was the peak season and advisable to get to the airport early.
