Excellent experience at the hotel Vancouver!!! Great atmosphere, staff, fantastic location !!

Fairmont never disappoints- worldwide. This particular location was lovely. I had a corner room and the bed was really comfortable. I had some special needs because I had an animal with me. It just took talking to the right person to get that sorted out. I will always seek out Fairmont in any city.

Had an overnight stay at the Fairmont Vancouver, what a fabulous stay. The staff were professional, friendly and attended to any little request. The hotel is in a great location for walking round the city and then to board the cruise ship. On our return the hotel stored our luggage for the day. Have stayed in a few Fairmonts and the service and standard has been consistent across the hotels.

The manager had a nice gift for my and I in the hotel room with a card for our anniversary. Staff was great all around. We always try to stay at a fairmont when we can!

Beautiful hotel in great location! Parking is $70 daily and not the easiest access from the hotel to self-park with luggage. Warning - Mini bar items have a heavy tax! My $10 can of seltzer had a hidden tax of $3.50. This should be posted on the price list because I can only imagine the tax on something larger like a bottle of wine. Big rooms but small bathrooms. It would be wonderful if there was an amenity on the top floor like some other hotels in the area. A bar, restaurant or rooftop patio for guest to enjoy.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The pool was excellent. The fitness facilities were great. The pop-up lounge was a pleasant surprise and definitely worth checking out. The drinks were phenomenal. Excellent Daytime staff. From the Front desk, Chloe, she was lovely. Great to have her at the front line. The bellmen, the housekeeping staff and the in-house dinning staff, all very pleasant. Neil at consierge was great. JF at the Notch 8 bar, he was also great. Unfortunately the same could NOT be said about the evening staff, if you can find one. Tried to call Front desk late one evening, never got through. TWe had plans to go out one evening, there was no one at valet so we ended up taking a cab on top of the extremely high valet prices and upon our return, along with other Hotel guests, we all waited outside for 20 mins before someone opened the door because in order for you to enter the hotel you must ring the doorbell and for the doorman. Overall, the hotel, the rooms and the amenities were great. Unfortunately the hotels service did not live up to the Fairmont Brands standards, at least not this visit.

It’s a Fairmont. That says it all. Great job!

Staff attitude needs to be improved

Good location, clean room, though bathroom was quite small. Didn’t use any of the amenities on site, staff was polite.
