Have always returned to this hotel for many years. However the recent trip was exceptional due to a staff going out of her way to help me with my request for room transfer. Was travelling with elderly parents and a child. We were initially given a connecting room but on a smoking floor. Requested to change to non-smoking, but could only get a room at the lowest possible level. While not really a deal breaker, I tried my luck to request for a higher floor (still connecting room and non-smoking) and the staff did all she could to accommodate. We couldn't get it in the first day, but she made sure we get transferred on the second day. Special shout out to Farhana for this! Exceptional service just makes the getaway that much more special!

Room size was good. Simple n clean with awesome views of the mountains, clouds & cable cars. Connecting room for 2 adults, 2 teens was functional & spacious. Breakfast was a warzone at the Coffee Terrace at Genting Grand hotel though. Next time u will just take the room without breakfast…

Even though The hotel rooms were dated, they are spacious and well kept. Hotel staff are friendly and assisted us when we had an emergency. Checking in was a tad troublesome. It was a 2 steps check in process (after we checked in at the reception, we were directed to get our room cards and pay tourism levy via a machine). Overall, we'll recommend this hotel!
