Best hotel for my Japan trip so far despite it being the first hotel of the trip.. Location is at Shijo-Karasuma, subway and bus station are just 5mins walk away.. Shops and restaurants like the Shijo-dori, Gion also around 1km away and you can then take bus/train from there to Fushimi-inari or Kiyomizu-dera (Ninnenzaka, Sannenzaka) which is not too far and really beautiful (these are the highlights of my trip; where people rent kimonos and take photos)

We had a nice experience in this hotel. The rooms are spacious and stylish with plenty of amenities. My only complaint would be the bathrooms were a bit small and didn’t fit the rest of the rooms style.
