Clean, comfortable, good sized rooms. Enjoyed the fireplace and modern bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff and we really enjoyed the breakfast delivered in a basket to our rooms. We will stay again!

Quiet and beautiful location with very helpful staff. Our room had a view of the ocean and the breakfast delivered each morning was a great surprise. There was no A/C but we never needed it with the cool breezes through the open windows even at night.

Fantastic My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Tradewinds. The property has a great, quiet location—an easy walk to both downtown Carmel and the beach, which was perfect for exploring. My room was very clean and comfortable, and the fireplace was a great feature for the cool evenings. The staff were friendly and attentive. One thing to note is that breakfast is delivered to your room in a basket; while it’s a convenient and thoughtful service.
Overall, a great spot if you're looking for a relaxing, zen-like atmosphere.

Service was great, rooms looked just as pictured and were impressively clean, balcony was private, room and hotel had a very serene atmosphere, beach towels were provided, and the breakfast delivery every morning was super convenient and a nice touch. I would recommend and I would stay again.

Great place to stay with very thoughtful amenities including a small breakfast delivered every morning in a basket, texts from the front desk to check in periodically and and well-conceived design and comfort elements at every turn. Didn’t want to leave! Great stay!

Tradewinds is high enough to have a room with a view yet within easy walking distance of Ocean Street for shopping and restaurants. Our room was quite comfortable. The grounds, with lovely plantings and water features, are attractive places to sit in sunny mornings afternoons. The breakfast choices, delivered at our door, were appealing. Every member of the staff was welcoming and helpful. I thought I’d left something behind and called the next day to see if anyone had found it. I later received a report detailing my call and news that my item hadn’t been found. (No, surprise as I’d since found it buried in my packing!)
