We arrived at 7 am, completely exhausted, and were given a warm welcome. We were then told that we had booked a room without a window. I explained to reception that under no circumstances would I accept a room without a window in a four-star hotel. They then rebooked us into another room free of charge without any fuss. The room was on the fourth floor of the annexe. It was clean and modern. The queen-size bed was accessible from both sides, and at night we were hardly disturbed by street noise, even though the hotel is right in the heart of the action. The bathroom was modern, with a shower and a toilet with a bidet function. Soap, conditioner, shower gel and plenty of towels were provided. There was also a fridge, a TV, a safe and a hairdryer. Two bottles of water, along with coffee, tea and a kettle, were provided free of charge. The room service was excellent. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The hotel pool was on the seventh floor.
