Awesome location, right in the middle of everything, but quiet and comfortable

Rating: 2/5 We stayed at this hotel but had a very disappointing experience with the staff. Our main issue was upon arrival. The hotel is located inside the ancient town, which is extremely crowded and difficult to navigate. When we arrived at the gate, we had no idea how to find the hotel. We eventually found a hotel staff member at the entrance, but he was initially reluctant to take us to the property. He helped us with our two suitcases but seemed unwilling to guide us through the crowded streets to the hotel itself. Luckily, we insisted that he take us. Without that, we would never have found the hotel on our own. Overall, the staff were not very helpful or accommodating. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for non-Chinese speaking travellers who may need extra guidance in such a confusing location.

Perfect location in the heart of the ancient city. Very helpful and friendly staff. Big renovated room and good breakfast.
