Fantastic 5.0
It is affordable but only around 8 slides are opened, it would be better to visit it after they open up every slides!

Fantastic 5.0
We had a great time with a family at the Minera resort. A place full of relaxation with a lot of mineral pool and bath. Nice forest and crodolile feeding.

Fantastic 5.0
It wasn't as big as I expected, and even on a weekday, there were quite a few people. The pool was much smaller than I thought. The view was nice since it's on a mountain.

Fantastic 5.0
The trip was enjoyable and filled with valuable learning experiences. The locations we visited were wonderful, and our tour guide, Henry, was knowledgeable, professional, and reassuring throughout the journey.

Fantastic 5.0
Our tour guide was very informative and helpful. We didn't expect to be walking 900+ steps to the hands of the Jesus Christ Statue (and another 900+ steps back down) but the view was inside breathtaking. The beach was very warm and calm. Great sights for a day tour in Vung Tau City.

What to know before visiting Vung Tau

Top experiences you’re likely to book in Vung Tau City

Water parks dominate bookings, followed by tours and cable cars, with museums attracting a small but steady audience. Demand rises through late spring and peaks in June, then falls away into the trough months around November, so the rhythm of the year shapes when each experience is busiest.

What suits families, couples and solo travellers

Families tend to favour water parks for splash-and-play fun and easy group access, while cable car rides and light tours work well for couples seeking scenic views or relaxed excursions. Solo travellers and small groups will find museums and shorter tours a good fit — museums are the most budget-friendly option and tours offer the widest range of choices depending on how adventurous you feel.

What travellers from Australia typically book ahead

Most activities in Vung Tau City are flexible enough to be booked a day or two before you go, though the earliest planners still often book around one day ahead. Booking in advance matters most in June, when demand is at its peak and popular experiences fill up faster.

How the main categories compare on price and appeal

Museums are the easiest way in price-wise, typically representing the lowest entry point for sights and culture. Water parks and cable cars sit in the mid-range, offering family-friendly value and scenic experiences respectively, while tours are the priciest and show the widest spread of options—from budget group outings to higher-end private or specialised trips—making them versatile for different traveller types.
