Fantastic 5.0
Had an absolute ball. super friendly staff, safety was excellent with hand rail getting into boat and comfortable seating. Fun captain and music made it super enjoyable and some brief history in various languages. well thought out quick 20 minute tour but worth it for the experience and photos.

We were able to enjoy USJ even though we were just there for a short time, was only able to explore the Harry Potter and Jurassic Park Area but was the most enjoyable part of our Japan Trip. The booking experience was easy as well as the entry to the park, there was no hassle whatsoever; Hopefully we'll be able to comeback soon to enjoy more of what the park has to offer 🤍

Super convenient same-day booking via Klook—the instant QR voucher let us skip the ticket lines and head straight up. The 360° open-air views of Osaka from the Floating Garden Observatory are unbeatable, and riding the floating escalator is an experience in itself. Don't skip the building history exhibits to see how this engineering marvel was constructed, and definitely complete the multi-colored layered stamp activity—it makes for a fantastic souvenir to top off the visit!

If it’s your first time visiting USJ and you want to skip the long queues, getting an Express Pass is definitely worth it! You can enjoy the attractions with less waiting and less stress, making the most of your day at the park.

Easy to use on train stations and activities. Just show your QR code! Take note though, 1 person = 1 QR. Qr code is valid for 1 min everytime you load it so screenshots won't work. Your phone needs to always have internet access to load the QR Codes.

Abeno Harukas Observatory is a must-visit viewpoint in Osaka. Its impressive height offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the entire city, providing an incredibly open vista. On clear days, you can see for miles, and both daytime and nighttime views have their unique charm, with the night view being particularly stunning as the city lights create a spectacular sea of illumination. The observatory boasts a spacious layout with glass designs that ensure an unobstructed view, making it excellent for photography. It never feels cramped, allowing visitors to stroll and admire the scenery at their leisure. There's also a cafe and seating areas inside, where you can relax and enjoy the high-altitude views. Compared to other observatories, Harukas stands out for its height and superior comfort. Crowd control is also managed quite well, contributing to a very pleasant overall experience. While the ticket price might not be the cheapest, it is definitely worth it. Overall, it's a highly recommended attraction. If you want to see the most beautiful panoramic views of Osaka, this place will certainly not disappoint!

This is well worth it. Beleive me it was a hot day and last thing is having to line up and wait in a massive Queue. This place gets packed. Great thing if u book/make a reservation you skip these lines. It was a great experience they even had spray machines for you on way up to cool yourself down. They also have souvenir shops inside the castle to buy memorabilia. Its quite a massive space to explore and you get a good glimpse of history and the area is just magnificent to be in. You can also pay for boat trip down the river & other excursions. Wonderful experience.

Fantastic 5.0
This is a very worthwhile pass. I bought it during a 50% off promotion. You can choose 3 attractions to visit, or shopping/restaurant discount coupons. I used mine for 1 attraction and 2 shopping discount coupons. The total regular price of these three items was more than double the cost of the pass I purchased. It's also very convenient to use; just scan the QR code to enter the attractions, no need to queue up again to exchange for tickets.

The ferris wheel is a really fun way to take in city views! Located inside the Hep Five building on the 7th floor. We visited as a couple, usually its x4 people to a capsule but as it wasn't super busy they let us in as a pair in our own capsule which was nice!

What to know before visiting Osaka

What to expect in Osaka

The things-to-do scene in Osaka is led by Theme parks, then Attraction passes, Observation decks, Museums and Historical sites, so you’ll find both big-ticket family attractions and low-cost heritage or skyline options. That range makes the city easy to use whether you’re planning a budget trip or splurging on headline experiences. Demand peaks in November and is at its quietest in June, so November visits are noticeably busier while June brings much lighter crowds.

How to choose what to book

The main decision is whether you want broad variety or simple, low-cost entries — deciding between variety and simplicity guides what to pick. Theme parks offer the widest range: entry-level options are typically around AUD 91 while upper-end tickets typically reach AUD 164, so they suit families and travellers who want a mix of budget and premium choices.

If you mainly need straightforward, cheap access, Historical sites are the most affordable way in with a typical price of AUD 12, while Observation decks and Attraction passes sit in the lower-to-mid bracket with tighter ranges that leave less room for bargain hunting. Museums sit mid-range but can vary in style and what’s included, making them a good fit when you care about the specific exhibition rather than just the price.

When travellers from Australia book

Most travellers book about 30 days ahead, while the earliest planners book around 54 days out, so plan on arranging key tickets roughly a month before travel. Peak demand in November is when that booking cushion matters most; last-minute bookings are typically possible inside 10 days but availability will be tighter during peak periods.

How prices compare across categories

The table below shows how the city’s top categories compare on price so you can place a budget before choosing.

Category Typical Price Usual Range
Theme parks AUD 102 AUD 91 – 164
Attraction passes AUD 36 AUD 31 – 48
Observation decks AUD 19 AUD 16 – 19
Historical sites AUD 12 AUD 12 – 12
Museums AUD 22 AUD 19 – 61

Typical price is the median paid on Klook; the usual range covers the middle half of bookings, so cheaper and pricier options exist outside it; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, August 2025 – July 2026.
