Don’t forget to try the classic local “matanozoki” (viewing through your legs) to appreciate Amanohashidate from a different angle, where the scenery appears like a soaring dragon! 🐉 🌊 Along the tranquil Ine Bay, admire the traditional Funaya houses built right by the sea. The blue waters, rustic Funaya, and distant mountains intertwine to form a serene coastal painting, where every shot captures the unique atmosphere of a Japanese seaside town. 🛳️ Explore Ine from a different perspective! Take a boat tour of Ine Bay, gazing at the Funaya houses along the shore and the layered mountain scenery from the sea. During the voyage, you might even encounter seagulls flying alongside the boat, enjoying a relaxing and fun time on the water. ☕ If you enjoy slow travel, consider spending some time in Ine. Reviews
This was my first time taking a day trip with this travel agency, and our tour guide, Wen-Ji Ju, was incredibly enthusiastic and energetic. He switched between three languages fluently, which was impressive, as we had travelers from Taiwan, Korea, and Japan on the bus today. He explained the itinerary three times, managed the time perfectly, and we didn't experience any delays. He even provided pictures at each scenic spot, showing us the best angles for Instagram-worthy photos, and offered to take pictures for everyone. He was very thoughtful, even checking in with those who hadn't taken many photos to make sure they got some. Along the way, he recommended delicious snacks and unique convenience store drinks, and it was clear he wasn't just promoting them. His enthusiasm was consistent throughout the entire trip. The group members were also very considerate and didn't cause any delays at any of the attractions. I hope to have the chance to join another tour and have the same guide again! 👍 I do have a small suggestion for the travel agency, though. There are very few restaurants in Amanohashidate, and it gets very crowded with tourists, which caused significant delays during lunch. It was a bit disappointing that we missed some spots because of this. It would be much better if the agency could offer a lunch reservation and meal service.
Our trip to Ine no Funaya and Amanohashidate with Guide Goo Moon-gil was very enjoyable, comfortable, and pleasant. In particular, his excellent language skills in Korean, Japanese, and Chinese made the trip very convenient. Also, I was staying in Kyoto and booked the bus tour just the day before, but he confirmed the reservation immediately, allowing me to join the tour right away. If you're staying in Kyoto, I highly recommend trying the bus tour. Guide Goo Moon-gil also shared many great restaurant recommendations, famous Japanese foods, and convenient store 'hidden gems' that locals often buy, which was very helpful. I will definitely come back to Kyoto with my family for another bus tour. Please be sure to still be here until then!
This was my first trip to Osaka and Kyoto, and I booked this one-day tour. The journey was very comfortable and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Gu Wenji, was especially energetic and thoughtful. He explained the history of the attractions and what to do there in detail, and he was able to do so in three different languages for tourists from various places. He also thoughtfully reminded us of the restroom locations at each stop, suggested cooling drinks to buy at convenience stores when the weather was hot, and even shared recommendations for restaurants. We are very grateful for Tour Guide Gu Wenji's arrangements! Overall, the trip was very pleasant and wonderful, with beautiful scenery. Starting from Kyoto, we had the option to be dropped off in Osaka. If I have the chance again, I will definitely book these one-day tours again. I highly recommend this trip!
Absolutely amazing day trip! Northern Kyoto is stunning and so much more peaceful than the city. Reaching Amanohashidate and Ine no Funaya on your own by train/bus can be a massive logistical headache, so this Klook tour is 100% worth it for the convenience alone. Our tour guide, Suke, was fantastic! He was super organized, gave clear instructions, and shared great local tips throughout the day. The chairlift at Amanohashidate had incredible views, and feeding the seagulls/eagles from the boat at Ine was a highlight. Highly recommend this tour, especially if Suke is your guide!
Our guide Sean was wonderful and attentive. He was friendly and were so great with my kids. He help us take family photos and even carried my kids to feed the seagulls so we can feed seagulls ourselves. Even though the weather wasn’t the best, we still had a fun time. I personally think the trip would have been better if we can spend a little more time at Ine boat houses and skip the souvenir shop. Other than that, I highly recommend this trip with Sean!!
Since the distance from Osaka is quite far, the 1-day tour was perfect for travel. We completed everything in one day, including riding the train following the Spirit Away route, visiting Amanohashidate sandbar, and taking the Ine boat tour where birds flew very close to peck at our crackers. The atmosphere was great, and the views were beautiful. Finally, we stopped to buy local souvenirs. Our guide, Sean, was Chinese and spoke four languages. He took excellent care of us, managed the trip well, and was punctual. We were very impressed.
I've been wanting to visit these two places for a while, but transportation issues always held me back. Then I saw a day tour on Klook and immediately signed up with my friends. The meeting points are in Shinsaibashi and Kyoto, which is super convenient for friends traveling in Osaka or Kyoto. We met at 7:30 AM in Shinsaibashi to board the bus. Mr. Han, who took care of our group, was very nice. The tour bus broke down after arriving in Kyoto and we had to wait for an hour, but Mr. Han arranged hot tea and coffee for us 🙌🏽. First, we went to Amanohashidate and took the cable car up to enjoy the scenery. The weather and scenery were very beautiful, and we stayed for an hour and a half. Then we got back on the bus and went to see the Ine Boathouses. Finally, we took a boat to feed the seagulls and enjoy the scenery. In the end, it took us two and a half hours to return to Shinsaibashi and disband. The itinerary schedule was well-arranged with plenty of time 👍🏽. Looking forward to other day tours to other places next time!
It was great that our guide spoke Korean so well. Even though my friend and I were the only Koreans on the tour that day, the guide made sure to include Korean in all explanations. We weren't planning on taking the cruise, but we decided to go on the guide's recommendation, and I'm so glad we did. Thank you! The guide always told us where the restrooms were at each stop, which was very helpful, and even lent us Japanese Yen for lunch when we hadn't exchanged currency yet. It was truly wonderful. My only minor regret is that our main goal was to visit Ine Funaya Village, and we felt our time there was a bit short. However, there isn't much to do in the village besides taking pictures, so it's fine unless you plan to take twenty thousand photos! Guide 십만평 (Shipmanpyeong) is the best!
The tour was a very fun & enjoyable one. I was really thrilled by the feeding of segulls during the boat cruise. It had been one of the highlights of my entire Kyoto Trip. Special mention of our tour guide, Huahua (花花) who has been exceptional. He is very friendly, polite and helpful. He is also a very good photographer. He helped me to take a lot of awesome photos & videos (FOC 🤩). Really appreciate his excellent service.
CC was a great tour guide. Amanohashidate was beautiful, and so was Ine Bay. We were given ample time at each stop to explore on our own. It was fun feeding the birds on the boat ride. Can't miss experience if you are in Kyoto.
