Things to do in Ta Van Village

Very interesting tour of small villages near Sapa, our leader was Su and she was answering all of our questions. watch out for all the dirt, so don’t wear new shoes 😃Su even let me take a look into local school.

It was a nice and enjoyable trip despite the wet weather. Tour guide Cat was very helpful and make sure all of us stay safe throughout the hike. Wonderful scenery and worth the visit. Thumbs up!

The Sa Pa tour we joined was definitely one for the books! We’re so glad we got to meet our amazing tour guide, Jo, who showed us the beautiful life and culture of the Black Hmong people in the villages of Sa Pa, Vietnam. Vu was our guide and she’s terrific! the trek is about 3h long and 9.5km, hiking stick would have come in handy as the terrain is uneven. do note that there are some villagers that will hike along the group and provide assistance - however they will try to push souvenirs for sale at the rest stop. interesting experience and seeing rice terrace up close and seeing the animals

Loved the intimate tour I had with Ya. It almost felt like she was touring us around her childhood home. Aside from sharing the culture of the Black Hmongs, she also talked about local traditions, the loval shamans, and because it’s Halloween, the local myths of monsters and spirits. The foot bath is the perfect break after all the walking around we did and the coffee at Phansi was a fantastic way go end the tour. 1,000/10 would do this with her again!
