Our tour guide, Mr. Sam (Mr. Mok), was incredibly professional. In addition to the planned attractions, he also helped arrange a visit to see the Rafflesia flower, allowed us to taste indigenous-style roasted pork, and even play with giant koi fish. The original itinerary included the Mount Kinabalu observation deck, DESA Cattle Dairy Farm, and a suspension bridge. When time permitted, he added extra nearby attractions to enrich our trip. Mount Kinabalu's peak is often above the clouds, so it can easily be obscured; whether you get a panoramic view depends on luck. At DESA Cattle Dairy Farm, you can spend RM2 to buy some grass and feed the calves and lambs, which is a lot of fun. Thanks to Mr. Sam's explanations, we gained a clear understanding of Mount Kinabalu's ecosystem, the growth process of the Rafflesia flower, Sabah's history and culture, and the development of the Chinese community—these were unexpected bonuses. Thank you for arranging such an unforgettable Mount Kinabalu trip for us. Although we didn't see the full view of Mount Kinabalu from the observation deck that day, we managed to capture it from the airplane the next day, which made up for it a little, haha!
