The staff was friendly, although there was only one employee at the reception desk, so they were quite busy. We had to wait a bit because several groups of customers arrived at the same time. They can communicate in English, but when we had trouble choosing, we asked for a recommendation on which accessory colors to choose, but she couldn't offer any advice and just smiled. The older woman who helped with dressing and hairstyling spoke Japanese, but she was friendly. After changing, we waited a short while for the photographer to arrive, who was Taiwanese. Everyone was great, haha, and didn't force conversation, which was nice. We're not great at posing or expressions, and even though there were instructions, we felt a bit stiff. But overall, we were satisfied. We received the photos quickly the next day, and we would consider coming back again. In the end, the photographer even helped us return the wooden sandals to the store since we walked a bit further before returning to change. The store is quite small, and there are fewer options for men, mostly just a few color combinations. There are more options for women, but not many accessory choices.

Don't speak English well? No problem, the staff is very patient and will offer you the best possible service. Note that the store is on the second floor of a building. If you look carefully, it is well indicated, but if you can't find it, ask a local, they will be happy to help you. The store is in a great location in relation to Sakha Castle 🥰. If you can, try to book a time slot in the morning, this may allow you to have a photographer available. No need to book, they are super nice and they will explain to you the exact position to put yourself in so that your photos have the prettiest result. Also, as a supplement, the basic kimonos are not necessarily the thickest. If you want something of higher quality, you will have to add approximately ¥3000. In short, it's a great experience to do alone or with your friends.

My 4 friends and I loved this experience. we upgraded our hair dos and it was totally worth it. We chose an early morning reservation and enjoyed our kimonos all day. We also had plus sized girls in our group and everyone was able to be accommodated. Really this was one of my favorite things I did in Japan.

Both ladies were lovely! I got my hair done which was included, my hair was naturally wavy so she didn’t have to do much but they did have a hair straightener and curling iron if needed. My hair took no more than 15 minutes. Good selection of Kimonons for women. My husband and his best friend also got kimonons, their selection was smaller than the women’s but that’s given. we have more design available to us. Great experience!
