It was originally a cloudy and slightly windy evening, and I was actually worried that the event would be canceled before it started. The staff said they would notify us 30 minutes before the event whether it could proceed. Unexpectedly, around 9:45, the sky suddenly cleared, and all the stars appeared at once, which was really lucky. The whole stargazing experience was very professional and engaging. The guide used a laser pointer to identify different constellations and stars in the sky, allowing us to recognize the night sky step by step. Afterwards, we also saw star clusters, nebulae, and the details of the moon through astronomical and optical telescopes. It was the first time I had observed the universe so closely, which was really shocking and interesting. The atmosphere of the event was also very good. On-site, there was not only a photo service, but also hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows. Everyone chatted while looking at the stars, and the atmosphere suddenly became very warm, and it was easy for people to get to know each other. Overall, this is a professional yet relaxing stargazing experience, which is very suitable for first-time stargazers, or friends who like this warm and atmospheric event. The only thing I think could be improved is if free transportation was provided from the town, it would be more friendly for friends traveling alone!

The team size wasn't too large, with one guide for every 10 guests. The guide's detailed introduction sparked everyone's interest in stargazing. Preventive clothing was available for borrowing. The only drawback was that the free photography time was only 5 minutes.

Upon arriving at the stargazing spot, the staff had each member lie down on a lounge chair and provided a thick blanket (the temperature was only a few degrees, very cold). The first step was to observe with the naked eye, and the staff used a celestial pointer to point to the starry sky while explaining astronomical knowledge to us. After viewing with the naked eye, we used a telescope 🔭 to stargaze. There were two telescopes, and the pictures are mostly taken with the smaller one (small, but very powerful). We saw Jupiter's stripes, the Milky Way, a gentle close-up of the moon, and the stars around the Southern Cross, etc. I was so moved that I wanted to cry. Seeing it in person is so much better than in the photos, because you feel like they are alive, they are moving, they are blooming ⭐ The staff also provided everyone with a cup of hot chocolate during the process, and took photos of each team member as a souvenir. Finally, we all gathered around the stove to roast marshmallows 🍡 and happily ended my stargazing trip ~ 🤗

The tour and tour guide were wonderful. I travel while working, so the availability of Wi-Fi and USB ports are important selection criteria when choosing a tour from a travel agency. Klook's guide stated that Wi-Fi and USB ports were available, but the actual shuttle bus did not have them. This time, the Marlborough wine tour that I had already paid for through Klook on January 1st was canceled without my permission, and I feel that there is a lack of communication between Klook and the tour operator, which is extremely unsatisfactory. I would like to request a partial refund for this repeated breach of contract. However, I would like to reiterate that the content of this tour and the tour guide were excellent.

The stargazing program was very fun and interesting. The guide was nice and upbeat. We rode the bus to a stargazing place, and when we looked up, the sky was full of stars. It was very beautiful.
