Okinawa Prefecture Water activities

I booked a Kerama Islands snorkeling plus sea turtle swimming package via Klook, with Miegusuku Port as the meeting point. I self drove so I did not use the provided pick up service, and parking at the port is chargeable. Check in started around 8.20am. Onboard, all equipment such as wetsuits, masks, fins, and life jackets were provided, along with a safety briefing and optional add ons like banana boat rides, jet ski activities, and GoPro rental. The boat reached the snorkeling site in about 20mins, where we entered the water in guided groups. After an initial session and a short break on the yacht with tea provided, participants split into different activity groups. The sea turtle experience involved a short banana boat ride to a nearby spot, where staff first checked for turtles before we snorkelled in the area, followed by additional free snorkeling nearby. We returned to the yacht around 11.00am and arrived back at port at about 11.50am, with equipment cleaned on board.

The fishing experience was a lot of fun! The captain and crew were enthusiastic and helpful throughout, and the boat had a restroom, which was very convenient for our group. The waves were quite strong that day, and some members of our group got seasick and needed to return to shore early, so we weren't able to cook and eat the fish for lunch as planned. However, the overall experience was still very satisfying! Tip: If you're prone to seasickness, remember to take motion sickness medication beforehand 🎣 Also, we recommend saving the operator's contact information directly, as Klook customer service may not respond immediately before 8 AM.

Was an amazing experience, my partner and I had so much fun. this was my first diving experience and our instructor was very helpful, he explained how to dive very well. He was always very attentive and made sure we were okay, my partner has a advanced diving license so this wasn’t her first time but she also had a amazing experience. I felt calm and amazed by the beautiful reef and cave. Also our instructor took photos for us as it is included in the package, we paid an extra $3000 JPY(Japanese Yen) cash for videos he took aswell and they can out great. For anyone that’s wanting to do this experience I 100% recommend!!

Highly recommended! Anyone visiting Okinawa should definitely go to the Blue Cave, and this tour provides excellent service. Our guide, AKA, took great care of us and captured beautiful photos and videos. We went as a family of three (parents and child), and our child absolutely loved it. AKA also took wonderful care of our child. Everything felt very safe. I highly recommend this to anyone!

After parking your car at Cape Maeda parking lot, you can leave everything in the car. There's no need to bring your phone or anything else; you can just head to the designated meeting point to find your instructor. You can safely hand over your car keys to the instructors for safekeeping, and then head straight into the water. After the activity, you can go back to your car to get your clothes and toiletries, then use the public shower rooms next to the parking lot. It costs 200 JPY for about 3 minutes of showering, and 100 JPY for 4 minutes and 30 seconds of hair drying. The activity itself was also fantastic, and the diving instructors were very patient and helpful. They were very friendly to us as beginners in the ocean, guiding us step-by-step, which made us feel very comfortable. They also took many beautiful videos for us. If you want more photos and videos, you only need to pay an additional 1000 JPY, which is really cheap and a great deal.

After failing to find the turtles and Nemo on our own, we quickly searched and booked this tour. It was the top wish for this trip, as my child really wanted to see sea turtles and Nemo. The guide spoke English, so communication was easy while snorkeling. Since both I and my child are very timid, I was worried from the start, but I appreciated that safety was their top priority. We were grouped with a Japanese family and a solo male traveler, and our companions were very kind and great. And finally, we saw Nemo and sea turtles! We got super lucky 😍 We created wonderful memories as a family of three, and we are so grateful to our leader, Ken, for taking such good care of us! Thank you so much Ken! 😄😄

It was an amazing activity which made my Okinawa trip memorable!!! We went on a rainy day but luckily the rain stopped during our snorkel. The water was so clear and fishes swam around us . The coach was very patient and took good care of us alongside taking beautiful pictures/videos for us. The only unfortunate thing happened was that my dad couldn’t go at the end for he’s over-aged (above 58) - I overlooked the terms and conditions before I booked. Overall this event is highly value for money and I would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Okinawa!!

The trip was wonderful: everything was quick, you don't even notice the heat, everyone was very polite, and the guides were simply amazing (they showed us everything, told us stories, helped with masks and fins, and even brought up starfish from the seabed). We felt like we were in the movie "The Little Mermaid."

what a wonderful way to experience Okinawa and Onna with Pink Mermaid! we love Miyu (hope I spelled correctly), she guided us as a family in the water was conscious of the reefs and importantly took so many beautiful videos and photos of all of us! We could not have done this ourselves since from our perspective the water looked cloudy, however the GoPro proved differently! thank you Pink Mermaid and Miyu for making amazing memories for our family. While this was supposed to be blue cave, the weather/wind did not allow for it, but it worked out because we wanted to see more diverse fish and reef anyway! you would not get to experience this at the blue caves!
