Fantastic 5.0
The breakfast was good enough to satisfy your early hungriness. And the location is a thumbs up.

Great 4.0
For a Holiday Inn, this one is quite new and clean. I heard from an Uber driver that it was built not too long ago, and the facilities are really good. Breakfast is okay. The only thing I don't understand is why the boiled eggs are served cold; it would be better if they were kept warm.

More about Manchester hotels

Staying in Manchester: budget to indulgence in one city

Staying in Manchester covers a broad range: the top-tier nightly rates run roughly 3.6 times higher than the most affordable economy options, so you can stretch from very budget-friendly rooms through to noticeably pricier luxury stays. The best balance between cost and value is the economy tier, which typically represents the most budget-efficient choice for most travellers.

How the hotel classes compare and where to upgrade

Economy rooms sit well below the rest and are the clear value pick for travellers prioritising price over extras. The biggest price step is from economy up to standard, so deciding to move into standard marks the most significant upgrade in comfort and cost. Premium follows standard at a moderate uplift and suits those wanting more space or refinement without the top-end price. Luxury sits above all others for travellers seeking a higher-end experience and is the priciest option in the city.

When travellers from Australia usually book

Nightly rates dip lowest in August and peak in October; a budget-led trip will find the best rates if timed for August. Rooms here are typically reserved around 25 days ahead, so Australian travellers often lock in plans a few weeks before arrival, with longer lead times common around the priciest month.
