Fantastic 5.0
Overall, my stay at this hotel was quite pleasant. The front desk staff was friendly, clear, and efficient during check-in, making me feel valued. The room was a decent size, clean, and the bed was soft and comfortable, allowing for a restful sleep. The room was well-equipped with a TV, refrigerator, and toiletries, all of which were convenient to use. The hotel environment was quiet, with good soundproofing, so I wasn't disturbed during the night. The public areas were kept very clean, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. The location was also convenient, with shops and restaurants nearby, making it easy to get around. All in all, this stay was satisfactory. The service quality, cleanliness, and comfort were all excellent. If I have the opportunity, I would be willing to stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Fantastic 5.0
It's a 5-minute brisk walk from the station if you don't have luggage. If you have a lot of bags, you might wish you had stayed somewhere closer. The breakfast was delicious, and there weren't many people between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM when I went, so I ate very comfortably. However, if it's not already included, it's not necessarily worth adding on.

Very convenient, close to Sendai Station, close to car rental, close to shopping areas. The hotel is quiet, clean, and the reception staff is attentive. Easy check-in. Delicious breakfast. The pictures in the review are for a single occupancy room.

Small room but that just makes it more cozy. Great selection of free amenities. staff were all wonderful. The location is honestly the best once you gauge where things are. The Sendai station is just down the street. Multiple convenience stores. Department mall is attached to the station.

Fantastic 5.0
The location is good; although it's not directly connected to the station, it's not far. It's a short walk to Ichibancho and Ni-san-dori for a drink at night, or to Sendai Morning Market in the morning. The room size is also acceptable, and considering the price, it offers good value for money. The hotel also has a paid underground parking lot, which is especially convenient on rainy days.

Fantastic 5.0
I stayed for 2 nights and it was clean, comfortable, with great amenities including a smart tv. Also had a great view! hotel location: The hotel location was very convenient being connected to Sendai station, it’s easy to find, and numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance so you don’t have to go far, and don’t have to stress about being late to your train when leaving. I was able to store my luggage after checking out free of charge so I could spend my day in Sendai. Would stay here again!

Fantastic 5.0
The accommodation experience was first-class. This was my first stay at a Hoshino Resorts KAI property, and the hot springs were excellent. Both meals included in the half-board plan were delicious. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely consider Hoshino Resorts KAI properties first when choosing hotels in the future.

Fantastic 5.0
The location is convenient, about 6-8 minutes from Sendai Station. There's a 7-Eleven and Starbucks downstairs, and Sendai Morning Market and a Zenzirou branch next door. There are many restaurants and drugstores nearby. The hotel staff are very kind, friendly, attentive, and polite! The twin room is quite spacious, the shower pressure is good, and the hairdryer is powerful, so long hair is not an issue. The amenities are new and clean, though there are only two-prong outlets and USB ports, but the room has a 3-in-1 charging cable, which is great! 👍🏻

More about Sendai hotels

What staying in Sendai feels like

Staying in Sendai shows a relatively narrow spread between the most affordable and most premium hotels — the top-to-bottom scale is small, so stepping up a class doesn’t explode your nightly cost. The best balance of price and comfort sits with premium properties, which typically offer the most value for travellers weighing cost against quality.

How hotel classes compare and who they suit

Economy options sit at the lower end and are the most budget-conscious choice, while standard rooms move a little up in comfort for a modest increase in price. Premium is the sweet spot and represents the best-value tier; it’s a clear step above standard for travellers who want better quality without a large price hike. The biggest price jump comes when moving from premium to luxury, so choosing luxury is the main decision point for those prioritising a significantly more upscale stay.

When travellers from Australia tend to book

For travellers from Australia, the priciest month is August and the cheapest month is March; a budget-led trip is better suited to March when rates are noticeably lower than in August. Rooms are commonly booked about 30 days ahead, with many travellers locking in plans earlier in the priciest month, so if you have particular dates in August it’s wise to be less flexible.
