Things to do in Labuan Bajo

Our first stop was the legendary Blue Lagoon Cave — The moment I entered the cave, I held my breath in awe. The light rippled across the cave walls in hues of turquoise and azure — so beautiful that I couldn’t bear to look away. Our next destination was supposed to be Boleng Beach, but as the wind picked up and the waves grew restless, the captain changed course, guiding us instead to a nearby reef for snorkeling. The world grew silent; only the soft rhythm of my breathing mingled with the pulse of the sea. As evening fell, we climbed Amelia Hill to watch the sunset. The hill itself was modest in height but breathtaking in beauty. There were no steep paths or rugged climbs — only gentle slopes of wind-shaped grass that rolled toward the horizon. The hill may be small — a fifteen-minute walk to the summit — but from there, you can witness one of the most tender sunsets in the world.

We had an unforgettable time in Labuan Bajo, all thanks to our guide, Kris! He was incredibly friendly, very informative about the places we visited, and shared so many interesting facts that made the whole experience more meaningful. On top of that, he’s also a great photographer. He helped us capture beautiful moments throughout the trip, and we’re so grateful for it! What a wonderful trip! I have no complaints—everything was perfect: timely pick-up, friendly staff, and a comfortable boat, along with all the beautiful locations and fantastic weather. We set out early for the boat, allowing us to be among the first to arrive at each location, which meant we enjoyed less crowded spots before the others arrived. I was a bit concerned about the lunch box based on previous comments, but it turned out to be quite good. I had the chicken, and it was delicious! I highly recommend this tour!

the boat was clean and comfortable. there was an AC but we didn’t really needed as the wind blow through the window. the crew and guide were friendly and helpful to others with mobility issues. they provided equipment for snorkeling and lifevest. food was simple local fare, but was fresh and okay. duration at each stop was just enough and didn’t feel rushed. at Komodo island, we took the medium trail. you can just wear a sandal but sunblock is a must.

Everything was amazing from the start, on time pick up, classy & spacious boat with clean snorkeling accessories, free drinks and snacks and most best of all the crew which managed all of us perfectly safely. all the spots was covered, saw 3 giant Komodo’s, 7 manta rays, 3 sharks and 2 turtles. The crew also helped to take photos. It was a worthy trip to Komodo National Park.

Perfect itinerary (trekking clothes before lunch, swim suit after lunch) and the guide took good care of everyone, waters/snacks/raincoat were provided on boat, so as snorkeling gears. Lunch portion was big. Pick up was on time. We managed to see everything we should during this trip! Komodo dragons, manta ray, turtle, baby sharks, beautiful corals etc. Crew adjusted the snorkeling places to make sure we saw manta ray, and it’s really impressive!

I had a really fun day experience and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The group leaders were excellent, and the transportation was convenient. Komodo Park was a lot of fun, and we even saw some dragons.

The pick up time was on point ,what I liked mostly it’s that we were almost the first ones in each point . Wear comfy shoes for the hiking and have some slippers for the beach. sadly I didn’t saw any mantas and no turtles. my guide gorge (I think that’s the name ) did a wonderful job! I really expected to see more Komodo dragons as I went to Labuan bajo specifically to see them ,I saw only 2. the lunch was tasty and my group was really nice! I recommend 100%
