    What’s the best Disney Park for you?

    Orlando’s Walt Disney World is massive. Inside all that space, the Disney magic is very much present within all four of its theme parks: EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. We’ll be running down each park and highlighting specific attractions and rides that you don’t want to miss when planning your Walt Disney World excursions. This way, you can tweak and maximize the fun according to what appeals to you the most!
    According to our Klook Guide to Walt Disney World, there are a couple of ticket options. While the Park Hopper option allows you to visit multiple parks, the Multi-Day Magic Your Way Ticket gives you up to 10 days of magical fun.

    Magic Kingdom – For the classic Disneyland experience

    Modeled after the original Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, Magic Kingdom offers quintessential Disney experience. With the towering Cinderella Castle overlooking the park, it’s what most people think of when they hear about Walt Disney World. Inside, you’ll find all your favorite Disney character from Mickey Mouse and friends, to your favorite Disney princesses.

    1. Cinderella’s Castle – Towering over the entire Magic Kingdom, this iconic castle serves as the main landmark of both Magic Kingdom and of Disney World itself.
    2. The Six Park Areas – Classic Disney fun can be found all around Magic Kingdom’s six park areas – Main Street, Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. In each park, you’ll find an immersive set of experiences that’s sure to fill your day with magic.

    1. Space Mountain – Found in Tomorrowland, this indoor roller coaster features incredible lights, sounds and effects that makes you feel like you really are racing through the cosmos.
    2. Splash Mountain – Splash Mountain is a fun log ride that takes you in and around a mountain, patterned after the 1946 Disney film Song of The South. Apart from its thematic experience, people queue up for the thrilling 50-feet drop!

    1. Be Our Guest Restaurant – Live out your Beauty and The Beast dreams and be amongst Lumier and friends at Be Our Guest restaurant, located in Fantasy Land. One dish we cannot recommend enough is called, “Grey Stuff.” If you don’t believe us, ask the dishes!
    2. Cheshire Cafe – This kiosk found in Fantasyland only has one food offering, but it’s park-famous. The Cheshire Cat Tail is a brightly colored pastry that has made waves because of its highly Instagrammable appearance. Need a quick fix while you’re walking along Fantasyland? Grab one of these.
    3. Crystal Palace – If the family is in need of a big meal, then you can head over to Main Street, USA to find Crystal Palace. A buffet that features savory American cooking, you’ll also get to see Disney staples Winnie the Pooh, the rest of the gang from the Hundred Acre Wood.

    1. Happily Ever After Fireworks Show – There’s no better way to end your Magic Kingdom or Disney World experience than witnessing the Happily Ever After fireworks show. Given that it’s Disney World, expect the lights, sparks and sounds to be bigger and grander. The 18-minute show usually begins at 9:15 every night.
    2. Disney Festival of Fantasy – Another staple in any Disneyland park across the globe, the Festival of Fantasy brings all your favorite Disney characters – from the Seven Dwarfs to Elsa and Anna – in one exciting parade show starting at Main Street travelling all the way to Adventureland. The parade usually starts at 3PM everyday.

    Animal Kingdom – Experience the Circle of Life

    The park to go to if you want to see wildlife and learn more about animals and their habitats. Animal Kingdom is home to a number of tigers, lions and gorillas that call this park home where they are cared for by experienced animal trainers. Animal conservation and preserving the natural environment were advocacies of Walt Disney himself, and it all comes together here.

    1. Tree of Life – Animal Kingdom’s version of the Cinderella Castle stands 145 feet tall and is 50 feet wide at the center of the park. Underneath the tree are a series of natural landscapes that serve as habitats to a variety of lemurs, flamingos and kangaroos.
    2. Pandora – The World of Avatar – Disney also worked some of its magic in recreating the lush and vibrant environment of James Cameron’s Avatar. The area also features food, rides and characters from the ex-top grossing film.

    1. Expedition Everest: Legend of The Forbidden Mountain – Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain can be found in the Asia area of Animal Kingdom. The ride takes you up towards the Himalayan mountains where a huge beast is rumored to roam. So expect drops, broken tracks and then do it all again backwards!
    2. Kali River Rapids – Similar to Splash Mountain, this is one ride you’re gonna need extra clothes for. Enjoy the lush greenery and faces of your companions as they get splashed and soaked. If you need to leave your electronics behind, lockers are available at the entrance on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Food and Restaurants

    1. Satu’li Canteen – Take a seat in the Satu’li Canteen and immerse in the culture and food of the Na’vi. The canteen features a lunch and dinner for kids as well as adults and is near Pongu Pongu, the drinking hole where you can get exotic Pandora-inspired drink.
    2. Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night – The Circle of Flavors is more of a food crawl through different parts of Animal Kingdom. Boarding the Wildlife Express Train brings you to three different stops, all offering a piece of exotic cuisine to sample, ending in the Harambe market for a celebratory dinner with beloved characters from Pride Rock.
    3. Yak and Yeti – After conquering the Forbidden Mountain, come down to this Nepalese style restaurant. Yak and Yeti is decorated like an inn found in the Himalayan mountain range, perfect for a bit of rest and to regain your energy the next adventure lined up!

    1. Festival of the Lion King – Experience the magic and majesty of Pride Rock with this show stopping production featuring giants puppets, vibrant costumes and amazing acrobatics. Festival of the Lion King runs for 30 minutes and takes place hourly starting from 10AM until 6PM.
    2. Rivers of Light: We Are One – Rivers of Light features a vibrant set with jaw-dropping special effects to accompany a musical score that is worthy of closing out a day inside Animal Kingdom. It’s important to note that it doesn’t feature any fireworks of any kind as doing so would disturb the animals in the park. The 17-minute show takes place twice: at 9PM and 10PM everyday.

    Epcot – The Future at Your Fingertips

    Epcot is actually short for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, the concept of a community that will always be on the train towards human progress and achievement. As such, the park has served as a “permanent world’s fair,” showcasing the inventions and state-of-the-art technologies from around the globe as testaments to committing to the progress of mankind.

    1. Epcot Ball – This 18-storey sphere also known as Spaceship: Earth is the icon of Epcot. You’ll be able to view the history of communication, from cave paintings all the way to smartphones before being able to pick out your version of future communication using technology that predicts what it might be like. All while being presented by a star-studded cast featuring Academy-Award winner Judi Dench.
    2. Innoventions – Step inside this interactive science laboratory and learn about color and the way it impacts our moods, tells a story and impacts our daily lives. With three interactive zones that allow you to design and create a custom paint pallette with your own personal hues, Innoventions promises to give a new perspective and appreciation for colors.

    1. Mission: Space – For the wannabe astronauts, Mission: Space offers an exhilarating experience that puts you in the seat of a manned space mission simulator. Choose either a low-orbit excursion around Earth in the Green Mission, or take the more intense option and land a spacecraft on mars with the Orange Mission.
    2. Soarin’ Around The World – See the marvelous wonders of the world, both natural and man-made, as they soar above them for views you’ve never seen before. It’s an exciting and jaw-dropping glide that leaves you spellbound by the wonder and beauty that is present in the world, both natural and made by man.

    1. Biergarten Restaurant – Celebrate Oktoberfest at any time of the year at this energetic restaurant in the World Showcase area of Epcot. Authentic Bavarian cuisine is highlighted with live entertainment to ensure that you never forget the joys of being with good friends.
    2. Chefs de France – Be transported to the heart of Paris in this simple brasserie that is complemented by stunning views of the World Showcase promenade. For those of legal age, authentic French wine is available upon request to complement the meal.
    3. Coral Reef – At Coral Reed, guests get a glimpse of The Seas with Nemo and Friends attraction and all kinds of marine life as you dine. Boasting seasonal offerings and fresh ingredients, every guest is guaranteed flavor and satisfaction in every bite.

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth – A Disney World staple that has stood for two decades, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth is taking its final run so catch the dazzling special effects before it takes a final bow. Featuring displays that showcase the history of the earth through lasers, lights and pyrotechnics, the show runs for twelve minutes to cap off another day at Epcot.
    2. Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live! – Fans of this MCU dream team know how awesome the Awesome Mix really is. That’s why Peter Quill brings some alien comrades down to Epcot for a concert featuring hits from both volumes of his epic playlist. The concert is performed hourly from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM and then twice more in the evening at 6:45PM and a finale at 8PM.

    Hollywood Studios – Movie Magic All Around You

    1. Grauman’s Chinese Theatre Replica – A replica of the actual building found in Los Angeles, California, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre has stood as an icon of Hollywood Boulevard, the park’s equivalent of Main Street, USA in Magic Kingdom.
    2. Animation Courtyard Studio Arch – This studio arch serves as the entrance into the Animation Courtyard, an area of the park dedicated to the films made by Walt Disney Animation Studios. It also used to be the starting point for the Backlot Studios tour, a former attraction of the park.

    1. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith – Go on a rock ‘n rollercoaster ride with Aerosmith at Hollywood Studios! This exciting coaster experience is coupled with tunes from the legendary rockstar and is sure to make your experience even more thrilling!
    2. Twilight Zone of Terror – Patterned after the award-winning show The Twilight Zone, this dark ride features drops, rises and possibly a trip to another dimension. The Twilight Zone of Terror can be found in Sunset Boulevard.

    1. 50’s Prime Time – Experience a blast from the past as you treat yourself to a variety of soul food at 50’s Prime Time. Pick up some of Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken with sides of your choice and take in the flavors of home-style cooking.
    2. The Brown Derby – Live like the stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age when you step into The Brown Derby restaurant in Hollywood Boulevard. Faithfully recreated as it stood in its original Hollywood branch, the place even serves the old classics and desserts.
    3. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre Restaurant – A drive-In theatre and restaurant were just things you read about in books – until now.  With tables modeled after cars and a variety with a side of sci-fi entertainment, the Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre Restaurant is a great date location found in Commissary Lane to take you back to simpler times.

    1. Wonderful World of Animation – Head back to the Grauman Chinese Theatre to catch this nightly finale. Starting with the mouse who runs the house, Mickey guides the audience through a comprehensive history of animation, all 90 years of Disney Magic. Watch all of it unfold on the facade of the theatre at 9:05 PM every day.
    2. Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple – An interactive show for the kids, watch them be trained in the ways of the Force by Jedis and undergo lightsaber training to defend themselves against the Dark Side. Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple can be found at Echo Lake and runs every 40 minutes from 9:40AM to 7PM.
