4 Beautiful Lookouts in Scenic World Blue Mountains:

An overview of what to expect at Scenic World

    1. Scenic Railway

Thrillseekers - this is the perfect ride for you. Conquer your fear of heights and experience a 52° incline while riding the steepest passenger railway in the world. This ride will take you on a 310 metre journey where you will arise from a cliff tunnel out to the breathtaking Jamison Valley.
Tip: You can adjust your seated position to customise the experience. For the daredevils, there’s the ‘CLIFFHANGER’ mode at a maximum 64° incline, ‘LAIDBACK’ for those who want to chill out and of course, the ‘ORIGINAL’.

    2. Scenic Skyway

See the sights from above as you travel 720 metres between cliff tops across the stunning World Heritage listed area. Get your camera ready to snap up some impressive pics for the ‘gram (or the fam) with 360° views of Katoomba Falls, the Three Sisters, Mt Solitary and Jamison Valley.
Tip: The ride features an electro-glass cabin floor, allowing you to see the rainforest canopy pass right under your feet!

    3. Scenic Walkway

Immerse yourself through an ancient rainforest within the Jamison Valley and choose the length of your adventure from as short as a 10 minute stroll to a full hour exploration. The Scenic Walkway is a 2.4 kilometre wheelchair accessible boardwalk through flora and fauna (with some species dating back to the Jurassic period!) and make a visit to the Marrangaroo Spring to take a sip of pure Blue Mountains water.
Tip: The rainforest has its own climate since it is protected under the rainforest canopy. On Summer days you’ll find it as a cool refuge from the heat, and it’s highly recommended to experience the walk during the rain - where it comes to life with birdsong, misty surroundings and intensified colour.

    4. Scenic Cableway

Finish the day by riding past sandstone cliffs in the steepest aerial cable car in the Southern Hemisphere. This 545 metre ride is a great vantage point to see some iconic rock formations including the Three Sisters, Orphan Rock and Mt Solitary.
Tip: This ride will take you back to the top of the Scenic world where you can peruse the gift shop and make a stopover at one of the cafes where you can enjoy a coffee with a view!
