Patong is a vibrant city known for its beach and nightlife. But more than a favorite beach destination, Patong is also every shopper’s paradise. 🛍️
At the heart of the city lie two major malls: Jungceylon Shopping Mall and Central Patong. Whether you’re looking for your typical international brands or you’re looking to discover Thailand’s local brands, these malls in Patong have it all for you. Patong’s shopping scene definitely makes it easy to fill an entire day with fun and discovery!
Jungceylon Shopping Mall
Jungceylon Shopping Mall is the biggest mall in Patong. The 4-story mall is home to several international and local brands, both affordable and somewhat high-end. When you’re done shopping, you can even choose to eat from a wide variety of restaurants that offer both international and Thai cuisines.
Apparel and Shoes 👕👡
If you’re not sure what clothes you want to see, you can just head over to the Robinson Department Store. You’ll certainly see a lot of options there, like Bossini, Levi’s, Calvin Klein, and Boss. You’ll also find shoe brands in the department store, such as Skechers, Nike, Adidas, and Fitflop.
Outside the department store, you’ll find a lot more famous international brands like Crocs, Puma, and Rip Curl. There are also a few luxury brands, such as Charles & Keith and Coach.
But you’ll also find beloved Thai brands, such as clothing stores AIIZ and Jaspal. If you went to Thailand for Gentlewoman, then you’re in luck! Jungceylon has a Gentlewoman branch that sells clothes and their iconic tote bag.
Relaxation and Fun 💆🛝
Want to relax your body after shopping? Get a traditional Thai massage at Pimnara Spa, or try the hot coconut oil massage at Sansabai Massage 3. There’s also Nutchita Massage & Beauty that’s famous for their foot massage with coconut oil.
Traveling with the family? Head over to the topmost floor where you’ll find Froggy’s Fun Park, an indoor play area for kids, and an indoor go-karting place. You can also catch a movie at the cinemas.
Food 🍽️
Jungceylon has your typical favorites like Burger King, McDonald’s, and Subway. It also has branches of Din Tai Fung and Shake Shack. Why not get your first taste of those beloved restaurants in Thailand?
But of course, you’re probably craving something more local. We recommend the MamaThai Restaurant, where you can try their famous pad thai and mango sticky rice. For some fine dining, you can go to the Le Siam Restaurant instead and try their lobster and prawn dishes. There’s also Spice House, which offers Russian food on top of Thai food.
If you want to taste Thai cuisine yet still have options for western cuisine, then there’s definitely a lot of places you can choose from! You can check out Churrasco Phuket Steakhouse, Bangkok 101, Spoon Restaurant, and Thai Food Factory Phuket. All places offer Thai cuisine alongside steak, pasta, and some pizza.
You can also check out Roxanne Cafe & Restaurant, which also offers western and local cuisines. But it’s really more of a healthy restaurant - we’re talking poke bowls and wraps - and is perfect for vegetarians.
For dessert, you might want to try the famous Thai tea at The Coffee Club. If you’re craving for something cold, you can try the rolled ice cream at Abidin Roti Pancake, or the durian ice cream (it tastes good, we promise!) at Swensen’s Jungceylon Phuket.
Can’t find what you’re craving for? Then head on over to Love Eat Jungceylon, the shopping mall’s food court. You just might find your next favorite dish there!
Pharmacies 💊
You’re probably wondering - this is a shopping list, so why the sudden part on pharmacies?
Well, you never know! Maybe you need something for your aching arms and feet. Maybe you’re dealing with headaches or mosquito bites. Either way, a trip to the pharmacy shouldn’t be out of your itinerary. It’s a good thing that Jungceylon has two pharmacies you can go to: Boots Pharmacy and Watsons.
Klook Tip: Here are some recommendations for what ointments to get for various illnesses:
- Siang Pure Oil - for headaches, dizziness, and motion sickness
- Soffell Insect Repellent - for repelling mosquito bites
- Herbal Green Balm - for treating mosquito bites and minor burns
- Tiger Balm Pain Relief Plaster - for relieving your joints
- Centipede Pills - for treating coughs and sore throat
Others 🛒
There are still a lot more places to shop at Jungceylon. For one, there’s Moshi Moshi, a Thai brand that’s very much like Miniso. You’ll definitely find cute things there that you might want to bring home for souvenirs.
Speaking of souvenirs, you’ll definitely want to stop by Jungceylon for one reason: that they have a Big C! Big C is every tourist’s go-to for souvenir shopping, so don’t be surprised to find tourists with carts filled to the brim. You’ll pretty much be like them, too!
Not sure what souvenirs to buy at Big C? Tourists usually buy seafood snacks, rice crackers, freeze-dried durians, and thai tea mixes. If you want a slightly high-end souvenir, we recommend purchasing the royal milk tablets.
Central Patong
Among the malls in Patong, Central Patong is the only one with a more luxurious market. It’s a 2-storey mall that houses high-end international brands and local brands.
If you’re in the mood for some high-end shopping, then Central Patong is the mall for you.
Apparel and Shoes 👕👡
As we did say, you’ll find more luxury brands in Central Patong. Some of these include Jim Thompson, Ralph Lauren, Armani Exchange, Columbia Sportswear, and local brand Warrix.
For athletic and casual shoes, you have the likes of Nike, Under Armour, and New Balance.
Cosmetics, Accessories, and Jewelry 💄💎
Central Patong has a department store that’s perfect for shopping for your favorite cosmetics and skincare! Choose from Lancaster Monaco, Chanel, Dior, Estee Lauder, SK-II, and Shiseido among others.
You can even shop for sunglasses at Glassaholic, or get your ears pierced at NooYoo!
When it comes to jewelry and accessories, make sure to stop by Real Pearl and Souvenirs Phuket, NGG Jewellery, Fonney, or Pandora.
Food 🍽️
Don’t forget to grab a bite after your shopping spree!
Central Patong offers a variety of restaurants, like Kenny Rogers Roasters, Kailash Parbat, Mozza, and Prime Burger. For dessert, you can go to The Coffee Club or After You Dessert Cafe (their kakigori is a must!).
But most of their dining options are concentrated in their food court, Tops Food Hall. Dive into international cuisines at Tops Eatery, Namaste Vegetarian, Indian Delight, and a whole lot more.
