we got Mr. Shi (史) as our driver for the day trip. he arrived at our hotel 10mins before our departure time, drives safely throughout our trip and is always ready whenever we wants to depart our location. Though weather is not in our favor today (continuous rain), he gave some other suggestions that we could do as we had to give up one of the outdoor sightseeing places. car is comforty and clean. Overall, we have a good trip
Super worth the money especially when traveling in Tohoku region where there are numerous majestic sights that takes time and research to get to. I customized the itinerary to Sendai Dai Kannon, Yamadera Mountain temple and Ginsan Onsen. Totally doable with the 8 hours timing however you will need to be timely and also make sure you manage your own sightseeing timing at each venue. Lily, the driver/guide assigned is an amazing driver with a kind personality. Lily is so efficient that she even checks in before the travel date. Was a blessing to have Lily as our assigned driver and guide. Will definitely book for a private tour experience next time when back in Sendai!
If you want to travel comfortably, chartering a car is the best choice. The most important thing is that the price is the same as that of a large group. . . After booking, someone will follow up and provide suggestions before departure. On that day, a local uncle was responsible for picking us up. He was very kind and could speak simple English and Mandarin. He also used a translator to communicate with us. He also took us to have a good lunch at noon and took us to eat ice cream before that. The whole trip went very smoothly.
The driver arrived at the hotel on time and arranged for Zao Fox Village in the morning. The wild foxes were so cute! Feeding must be done in a fixed place, otherwise you are at your own risk if you are scratched by a fox. In the afternoon, we will schedule a cruise on Songdo Island. We will take a walk around the nearby Godaidang Suiganji Temple Manton-in Temple. The specialty oysters are delicious!
After placing the order, a group will contact you to confirm the itinerary. You can adjust the itinerary or change the return location up to three days before! Flexible response time, great! The 7-seater seat can accommodate 6 people. You can take a nap in the car. The driver is very stable and comfortable when driving. It is very convenient to communicate in Chinese.
From the moment we placed the order, a Chinese-speaking contact person communicated with us in detail about the itinerary. We were even able to make changes until a few days before. Although the driver on the day was Japanese, they had extensive driving experience and could speak simple Chinese, so communication was not a problem. In the end, the itinerary was completed successfully.
pick up and drop off Sendai Royal Park hotel. zao fox village. Mt zao ropeway. 9am to 5pm. Ri,our driver, could speak japanese and Chinese. we had a nice van for 4 people. it can fit total 7. no luggage. it was very smooth and easy. communication via google translate. it went really well.
Ms. Bingbing was very conscientious in driving. The traffic time was very long, nearly five hours. It was very hard to drive to visit these two scenic spots that are not close to each other in one day.
The driver sister/Bingbing was very gentle and hard-working because Yufu Fengshan was also very professional and recommended many alternatives for us to choose from. The whole trip was very comfortable and made us feel at ease during the trip👍🏼
The driver’s service is attentive, and we recommend a soba restaurant for lunch. The soba noodles taste great, and it’s a new experience of authentic Japanese local cuisine! For a temporary change of itinerary, it is recommended to experience the hot spring bathing in Akiu Hot Spring Village, which is also a good place to relieve the fatigue of the day.

- Child seats are not mandatory. Please reserve in advance if needed. The supplier can provide 1 child seat free of charge. A child seat occupies 1.5 person space, which may affect passenger or luggage capacity, so please be sure to confirm in advance. Additional child seats are subject to an additional fee of 2,000 JPY/piece/day. For more than two child safety seats, please confirm with customer service.
- The total duration of the chartered car service is 8 hours. The pick-up and drop-off points are hotels or B&Bs in Sendai city (empty driving time will be reserved for the driver for pick-up and drop-off in different places, or additional fees will be required). Service is available from 08:00 - 20:00. It is recommended to arrange a reasonable departure time to fully enjoy the attractions.
- Empty car fee: There may be a price difference for departures or ends in different places. If this occurs, customer service will reconfirm with you after the order is placed.
- Please be sure to leave your LINE ID or WhatsApp or WeChat number when ordering (after reserving, please turn on the add friend setting so that local staff in Japan can contact you in a timely manner).
- After placing the order, you can see the customer service contact information on the platform. Please add it in time to facilitate communication about the itinerary and vehicle arrangements. The supplier will send you the driver information 1 day before departure (provided at least 3 hours before the vehicle is used). Please pay attention and wait for the driver to pick you up in the hotel lobby at least 10 minutes in advance.
- An overtime fee/excess kilometer fee will be charged if the actual vehicle usage exceeds the service time or trip distance.
- A fee of JPY 300/kilometer will be charged for total travel exceeding 250 kilometers.
- For consecutive orders, if you stay in a city outside Sendai, you will need to subsidize the driver's accommodation fee separately: 8,000 JPY.
- Overtime rentals due to traffic congestion will be charged regardless of natural causes or traffic control. Important reminder: Please provide correct contact information to facilitate supplier contact
