As a couple in our 40s who have visited various bird sanctuaries and parks, we were pleasantly surprised by the experience here. Unlike some places where birds seem confined, the birds at this park appeared content, co-existing harmoniously with other species in well-designed, spacious enclosures. The atmosphere felt more natural, which we appreciated. The bird show was a real highlight, showcasing the talents of these beautiful creatures, and it was enjoyable for visitors of all ages. Overall, a well-organized and enjoyable visit!
What a experience, very nice birds and open aviary makes it very beautiful as birds are walking with you easily accessible, And that bird photoshoot is very good, would suggest you to reach early around 10 and go to the left after entering as time goes by it gets crowded at the photoshoot place.
🦚Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is located in the quiet and beautiful Kuala Lumpur Lakeside Park, 10 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur city center. Originally built in 1921, it occupies 21 acres of valley terrain. There are more than 3,000 birds in the park, a total of 200 species of local and foreign birds, from China, Thailand, Australia, South America, South Africa, India, Indonesia, etc. It is currently one of the largest open bird parks in the world. Here you can interact closely with birds. The park is divided into four zones. Zone1 and Zone2 are free flight zones. Here you will see different birds. Like flying and walking on land; Zone 3 is a hornbill park, and Zone 4 is for raising miniature birds. Walking in the bird park, you will see mandarin ducks, emus, ostriches, hornbills, ostriches and other rare birds in the parkㅤVisiting guide 🦜🦚🕊🦢🦉🐒 ㅤ⏰Opening hours: 9.00AM - 7.00PM, The latest entry into the park is 6.00PMㅤ🚖Transportation & Tickets: This is a family trip, a group of 8 people. We purchased a ticket package on KLOOK that includes a one-way free pick-up service. From the city hotel to the entrance of the park, confirm the pick-up time via email in advance and the number of people, the driver will contact us in advance on the day, and a car will take us all directly from the hotel to the entrance of the park. After arriving, the driver will help us change our ticket bracelets, and we can directly check in and enter the park. The whole process is smooth ㅤ⏰ Play time: 1-1.5 hours ㅤ🦚Activities in the park: ㅤ•Photo Booth|Zone 4, paid, mainly parrots, 9.30 am to 5.30 pm•Ostrich Feeding|Zone 4, All day • Hornbill Feeding | Zone 3, 11.30am • Eagle Feeding | Zone 1, 2.30pm • Lory Feeding | Zone 4, paid, 10am to pm 5pm • Free Flying Bird Feeding | Zone 1, 10.30am • Bird Show | Zone 4, 12.30pm and 3.30pm • Milky Stork Feeding | Zone 4, 4.00 pm ㅤ⚠️Warm reminder: The temperature inside the park is slightly higher than outside. Pay attention to heatstroke and sun protection. It is recommended to wear short tops and long bottoms. I thought there were a lot of mosquitoes in the park, but I personally tested that there were very few. Although the birds are not very afraid of people, it is recommended that everyone keep a certain distance. Some medium and large birds will still attack when they feel threatenedㅤ👀The Bird Park is a 10-minute walk to the National Mosque Malaysia and the Islamic Museum. If your physical strength permits, you can check in together.
