loved this!! they provide you with a jacket & gloves if you need, ours included 2 cocktails (margaritas were outstanding!) 🍸 the ice sculptures are stunning then you get to smash your glass at the end!
It was an amazing experience! Highly recommend come with the kids as well. So much fun with great photo shots. Cocktails were nice too.
very accomodating staff. good drinks and mocktails. nice experience.
Our family of four, including two teens (17 and 18), dove into the chilly thrill of Minus 5° Ice Bar during our recent Queenstown trip. Kids are welcome with parent supervision, and they loved the tasty mocktails served in frozen glasses while we sipped cocktails. Jackets, gloves are provided. The small, confined space gets cramped with groups, so not everyone scores a seat on the fur-covered ice benches—standing room is common, but it’s buzzing with lights and music. Highly recommended for unique, memorable adventure
2025/4/5 Experience, overall it is a special bar in New Zealand. Because the whole room is made of ice, they will provide special cold-proof jackets to wear, but if you are not afraid of the cold, you don't have to wear them. The following is the actual content: 1. The bar is very small, about six to seven square meters, about the size of a single suite. 2. The wine provided tastes like juice and there is really no base in it. Girls might like it. 3. The venue is not well controlled. It is a bit crowded like a nightclub, and people are allowed in all the time.
Great place, great welcome. Lucky to meet a French person. The cocktails are excellent. I recommend it 200%. Thank you again!
He actually goes into a bar inside a large freezer, and because the space is small people go in batches, but it’s a good experience! You can try it
Good experience in general, the ice statues were very pretty. The place is smaller than what you would expect, stil worth the experience
Tiny little bar, but novelty factor super high. We were lucky to be gifted complimentary access to its sister ice bar (near skyline), which was bigger and sculptures unbelievable. Lots of fun. Thank you
very friendly staff. we had a great time! worth it
