Dinner set at popular Isomaru Suisan restaurant. Many branches to choose from. Book a time via Klook. Get a lot of food sets. Very worthwhile. Use the Klook code to get more discounts. Very cheap. Go according to the time you book. Get a table and food served immediately. Very delicious, especially the Kanimiso and Scallops. Unforgettable fun.
The waiters were too busy and were not able to serve us completely for many times, because some of the food required them to help grill, but half of the time they had to help other guests, so they didn't know when the food would be ready to eat. The result was that sometimes it was too raw and sometimes... It’s overripe, but other than that, the overall experience is worth a try!
Waiter/Waitress has no clue on how to process Klook voucher. Absolute worse. Went into restaurant and waiters didn’t know what was our klook order. After much persuasion. Was served miso soup and rice in the beginning together with some chicken kaarage and some kind meat in the beginning. We were given tomatoes and chilli together with squid which we began cooking. This isn’t exactly what we only order…? After that we just sat there and waited blindly because she staff did not knew what we ordered despite telling them and show them the Japanese order chit 3-4 times. - via klook. We just waited and waited. I had to tell them something was missing repeatedly then they went to bring out that few extra ingredients. So 20mins later my clams came out (1 out of 2 was spoilt) and the scallops were so pathetic (look at the size of one). I had to tell them again that my order included sashimi plater and another fifth time to bring out one abalone. All in all it’s SUPER SAD and extremely disappointing. I had so much hopes for this restaurant and this was my mom’s first meal in Japan yet it was such a disappointment. $80++ SGD for awful seafood that I could get much better back at home. 0 stars, I would instantly demand for a refund and leave because what’s the point, the staffs don’t understand anything. I don’t even know what I got is correct… I am putting in screenshots for accountability and the time stamps. - I dined at Shinjuku outlet.
The service is good and the food comes out quickly. You can sit down just by saying your name.
The food tastes too salty. It is suspected that eating unclean food may cause gastroenteritis.
The service attitude is really good. He helped us bake the ingredients and also chatted with us. Although we didn’t understand the language, there were basically no big problems.
There are discounts when purchasing, reservations are made at the same time, and the ingredients are fresh, but no one will teach you how to grill the ingredients well.
I had a fantastic dining experience at Isomaru Suisan in Shinjuku! The set meal was generous and left us feeling full and satisfied. The service was top-notch—when we weren’t sure how to cook the fresh abalone, the staff kindly stepped in and cooked it for us. Their friendliness and attentiveness really enhanced our meal. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the atmosphere was lively, making it a perfect spot to enjoy authentic Japanese seafood. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great seafood izakaya experience in Tokyo!
The food quality is satisfactory, the environment is relatively clean, and the service quality of the waiters is good. I believe that I can visit the above restaurants again!
When we arrived, the store was ready. The food was served quickly. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. The clerk was very considerate in helping to grill the seafood. The overall experience was good.
