Desaru Lebam River Mangrove Cruise

We enjoyed our guided tour very much. Francis, our guide, was very knowledgeable and interactive. He picked us up on time and transfer to boat was smooth. Boat ride was great and we learnt a lot about mangrove and it's importance to environment. We also saw Egret birds and monkeys. Highly recommended especially for family and children.

it was a great day a lebam river cruise tour with shon our tour guide..he was amazing and guide us in the whole tour very kind and friendly including his one tour guide didn’t remember her name and our driver too..surely will come back again for another adventure

We really enjoyed the river trip, which is very educational, all thanks to the amazing guide, Shahrool. He is also very humorous and good with the kids too. We learned a lot about the wild animals and mangrove trees during the trip, like a baby crocodile sounds like a duck when it’s calling for its mother, and the mangrove sapling is an amazing water filter. In fact the mangrove absorbs more carbon than the Amazon rainforest! We have become a strong believer in mangrove now. We highly recommend anyone to go for this trip.

It was the most fun tour during my trip to Johor Bahru~! The kids loved it so much, and it was a really amazing experience to see so many monkeys around the pier~

One of the highlights of our trip to Desaru, it really was money well spent for the experience we had. Our guide, Ainnur, was approachable and prompt with communications, and knowledgeable. We had the luxury of going on a "private tour" for that day as we were the only ones attending. Our van and boat captain, including Shawn (hope I spelled the name correctly) who was leading the kayakers, were all very friendly, and taught us so much about the Lebam river. The river is beautiful, with a rich biodiversity, and we really enjoyed the opportunity to observe nature from up-close but also at enough distance to not disturb their way of life. Wish we were able to stay out for longer but we were met with heavy rain in the monsoon season. Trip can still go ahead with light rain, but not with lightning risk or heavy rain. The whole process of being picked up at Westin Desaru to being dropped off at the same place was seamless. Would definitely sign up for another cruise with them the next time we're in Desaru, and would highly recommend any nature lover to book a trip with JungleWalla.

Tour guide is informative and driver is friendly too. It is nice and comfortable to have the wind blowing on your face while the boat speed along the sea. The kids learn about the wildlife. Recommended!
