What to expect
The bell tents look like a mini circus tent in bohemian style. Campers may also bring along their own DIY decorations such as bunting flags and string lights to blend in some original style to the tent. Campers can also bring along with ingredients and prepare own meals in the hostel kitchen with fridge provided or have barbecue at BBQ site. Enjoy glamping and star grazing experience with family and friends.

This is my family 's favorite glamping place in all of Hong Kong ♥️ The hostel manager, Albert is very accommodating and helpful! He is amazing along with all his staff. My kids love staying here because we can go kayaking and explore the nearby islands 😍 I love how the kitchen is fully equipped so all I bring is just our food for bbq 😍
Stunning sea view and very helpful staff ! So many things to do and you will be torn between hiking or kayaking; swimming or playing sand at breath taking Tai Long Wan beach. We were worried about mosquitoes as we travelled with a 4 year old but it turned out we only saw one in toilet in the morning. Nice surprise.
A very pleasant experience! Because the Chikeng Hostel can only be reached by hiking or by boat, it is only a 15-minute boat ride from Huangshi Pier to Chikeng Pier. You can also take a big flight if you miss the boat trip. The hostel has a beautiful environment and the staff is kind and talkative! The facilities are neat and complete, the bathroom has hot water supply, and the kitchen has induction cooker dishes and other utensils that can be borrowed, but you must bring your own ingredients and seasonings. Barbecue forks, charcoal, and drinks are available at the reception. We had a BBQ at night and borrowed the kitchen to cook breakfast the next day. And also recommended by the hostel staff 👍🏻, walk 30 minutes up the mountain in the morning to watch the sunrise.
The facilities are relatively old and tidy. After you enter the camp, you will be given a pillow bag and bed sheet, and put on the supplies in the camp. I personally think that when camping in the suburbs, there is water source, enough hot water to cool down, and the water pressure is very high. Good 👍🏼 has all the cooking stove tools, and there is a large refrigerator in each camp. You are not afraid of being messed up with others. You can buy drinks and cup noodles. You don’t need to bring your own equipment, so you don’t need to bring a lot of trouble and money. This experience is really good , And the venue managers are very talkative and friendly. They introduced a lot of activities to us. In the morning, we went up the mountain to watch the sunrise, and played a canoe at noon. This experience was really good 👍🏼
we got the whole camping place ourselves. thank you the staff who helped us to start the fire for BBQ. They were very friendly. Though it was a little cold at 10c in the glamping tent even with extra blankets!
The receptionist was very enthusiastic and the explanations were very detailed and polite. The scenery here is beautiful. The temperature is about five to eight degrees lower than the urban area. Note that there are no toilets, only ruffian toilets. Only storage-type electric water heaters are used for showers, so the water temperature is not stable. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and the pest control is done well. There are no insects inside and outside the camp. The mattress is very hard and covered with glue. It will be a bit cold at night, so it is better to bring your own warm sleeping bag because the bedding is relatively thin. In addition, the gate will be locked at night. If you want to go out very early in the morning, you must agree to open the gate with the receptionist, because someone will open the gate after 9:00am in the morning.
The surrounding environment of the Chijing Camp is the first-class tent located on the beach. It is very suitable for a large family & novice camping~ The venue has a barbecue (reservation required), charcoal, barbecue forks and drinks (charged) In addition, a kitchen and simple kitchen utensils are provided The only drawback is that you can simply cook... The toilets are too old, the sanitary conditions are generally peculiar and there are a lot of bugs (you must have enough 0 to be mentally prepared... Although the countryside has already been preliminarily =. =) In addition, the tents Some of them are less moldy. The beds are thick and thin, and the beds are not different from the direct floor. Moreover, the tent is fastened to the surface at night and found "big strong" OO. The venue staff is very friendly and willing to assist in arranging everything needed beforehand. We bring children (8-10 years old), can experience camping+canoe+BBQ, the overall fun~~~
Very satisfied! The camp environment is very good, the scenery is very beautiful, and the camp is very tidy! And the Yha staff are very enthusiastic, everyone is very friendly, like family! Must come again!
YHA Sai Kung Chek Keng’s campsite is very close to Wong Shek Pier, and it takes only 1 minute to walk to the Shek Level, so it’s very convenient to bring children. The staff is friendly and friendly, and will introduce the beautiful scenic spots nearby. It is within walking distance to Yantian Bay for sightseeing. The round tent is very beautiful, facing the sea, children can play in the water at any time, but there are many stones, so you need to wear shoes to protect your feet. The barbecue pit is right in front of the round tent camp, so you can enjoy BBQ time. Although you have to bring your own food for barbecue, you can buy heavy charcoal and start a fire in the camp, and the staff will teach anti-mosquito skills, so that children have something to do. But it is not recommended to stay when the weather is too hot.
The first time I played the yurt was a good experience. It was the coldest day. Someone dived in the yurt and dried it. The yurt was warm enough and had a bbq, but it was dark. The next day I went to a nearby rocky beach to fly a kite and the environment was worrying. Had a very pleasant camping
