Sompong Thai Cooking Class in Bangkok

I came to Bangkok and took this Thai cooking class – it was such a blast! The instructor was full of energy, funny, and really attentive in teaching, and I learned so many handy tips. It was so much fun!!!!I'll definitely come back again and again!

This is my second visit already! I came back after 4 years!! The instructor and the staff who help out are so kind and thoughtful. It was a class where I really felt the warmth of the Thai people. The morning class also included a market visit, which was a truly fun experience. I sincerely and highly recommend it.

This was an excellent cooking class! The instructor was very humorous, and the class atmosphere was lively and fun. The curriculum was rich and engaging, starting with a market visit to buy ingredients. Back in the classroom, we learned to make Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup, mango sticky rice, and Thai curry with the instructor. We then enjoyed our meal there for lunch. It was wonderful to both eat and have fun! Plus, it's very child-friendly; they provide booster seats, as well as pens and paper for drawing, making it a great class for families.

very professional “ant” energetic instructor! we had an amazing cooking time there and learnt some cooking skills and thai ingredients which we will definitely bring back home! highly recommend to anyone visiting bangkok and looking for an extraordinary experience other than just shopping:)

I should say it may the best cook school in Bangkok, the small alley cannot cover it’s shine. Teacher June welcomed us at the front Door that day, showed us the day processing warmly. With the Vivid and funny introducing of all the seasoning and foodstuffs we’d very well known of local food. she also make easy and interesting learning vibe which let us first Thai food cooking easily. Honestly, two hours is not enough. I ’ve already expecting rejoin the next time.

Facilities: Spacious, very clean, and beautiful. Instructor: Teacher Nancy is very friendly, and the class atmosphere is excellent. Experience: An exceptionally good experience. After the teacher personally demonstrated, I followed along and cooked the dish myself. The cuisine is very authentic, and even those who don't usually cook can easily make it. The portions were generous and delicious. I left feeling very satisfied after the experience and will definitely try cooking it again at home.

it is very worth to join the class. as we learned how to cook Phad Thai, Green Curry, Tom Yun Gon and Mango Sticky Rice. Also, everyone can cook and eat the food themselves. Teachers and teaching assistants are very helpful as well!

They initially asked me to reschedule the PM class because they were preparing for a huge evening class. But I told them it’s my birthday so they agreed to have a 1on1 class with me instead. P’ Koy was very patient with me as I am a beginner in cooking. 😅They also surprised me with a birthday cake after the class. So touching!!! Would highly recommend Sompong Thai Cooking School. Superb professionalism and service!!!

Jun is really helpful! I had such a fun and memorable time at Sompong Thai Cooking School. The instructors were very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, making the whole class enjoyable and easy to follow even for beginners. I loved learning about authentic Thai ingredients and cooking techniques, and the hands-on experience made it even better.

Our chef, June, led the class with ease, thanks to her humor and kindness. Even towards the end of the class, when one might expect to feel tired, her energy and sense of humor remained excellent throughout. I brought my two children, and since it could be a bit risky for my 7-year-old, we received assistance from the staff. The well-structured class content and time management showed just how skilled the staff members are. Our family learned about Thai cuisine and had a meaningful, delicious, and rewarding time, making this class well worth participating in.
