Get to know more of Japanese culture through history museums such as this. Best time to be here is probably in the morning when they've just opened. Don't go on Mondays because they're closed. You will do a lot of walking around, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Pros: Quick scan of the e-ticket, and then you're good to go and no need to queue up. Cons: Most of the descriptions beside the exhibits are in Japanese and no English counterparts. Bring a translating app, or maybe rent an audio guide at the lobby if there is (Unfortunately I didn't).
The exhibition is very nice, recommend to start from the second floor and you can have an overall view by taking a walk inside the museum. I had a good time in here. It took me 3 hours to see all the exhibition.
This place is worth to see. The price is a little bit cheaper than the venue price.
Just show your QR code and you can enjoy the TNM for a few hours! The museum is huge!
We were not able to visit this due to schedule change but we heard good things about it. will book in next visit.
Informative and learned tonnes. There are three buildings so allocate at least 2 hours (or more) if you’re very into history.
