Queenstown Thunder Jet Boat Adventure by Watersports

Such a fantastic experience. I was very impressed with the service from Thunder jet boat. So much enjoyable.

the ride was 1 hour long so definitely a great way to see the lake/river - a much more thrilling ride compared to a cruise. kid-friendly and you won’t really get wet so no worries about doing this without bringing a change of clothes. staff were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. RealNZ never disappoints.

If you leave without being serious, you will regret it so much. I was so glad I was able to make a reservation 45 minutes in advance. It is an activity that is worth the money. If you line up 15 minutes in advance, you will be seated in order. You can store your sunglasses or any luggage that you may be carrying in the locker before you sit down. Then, you will be seated in order, but if you are on the left side of the front row, you will have a good view and the best seat, so please keep that in mind. If you wear something like a hooded windbreaker, it will be waterproof and will prevent your hair from getting wet or flying. Put your phone in a zippered pocket and never take it out when you spin. The speed is so fast that I thought I was risking my life to film it, but when you suddenly spin, there is a risk of falling into the water, so it is difficult to film like I did. Haha. But I am so happy that I was able to take videos and photos, and the pilot's crazy tension really made me want to do it again... This is truly the activity of my life. Thank you ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

This is my second time to experience the jet boat. Unlike the 20-minute spray boat ride in the canyon last time, this time it lasts for an hour. The experience is even better, so be prepared to get your body wet!

Great experience and can’t leave Queenstown without trying this jet boat! Tip to bring a beanie, waterproof jacket and maybe a phone case with a strap. You’ll get water in your ear so cover it if you can.

Booked for 1hr initially but due to the water level they only offer 25mins ride. Staff were very helpful to cancel the 1hr booking and put us to the next earliest 25mins ride. The ride was really fun and was a great experience.

I felt that 25 mins is just right for this activity. 1 hour might be too long. The experience is fun, suitable for all including kids and elderly.

The price/performance ratio is super unbeatable. If you come to Queenstown, you must take a 60-minute jet boat ride to enjoy the excitement and beautiful scenery. Like, like, like.

Loved every minute of it! it was sunny and warm that day so super refreshing to get splashed! Our driver Jess was terrific, super into it and engaging. The jetboating thrill was enhanced by spectacular 360 spins and speed bursts and the views along the river were gorgeous!
