Risk Warning
Your participation in parachuting activities is inherently dangerous and may involve risks. These risks include, but are not limited to those arising from prevailing conditions such as weather or health conditions you may have. Despite careful packing, the parachute may open abruptly or not open correctly which may result in injury. Unintended incidents may occur during the aircraft flight, descent or on landing. Parachuting is done at the parachutists’ own risk. Any person parachuting, training to parachute, flying in any aircraft being used for parachuting or participating in any activity carried out by Skydive Wanaka or NZONE may only do so on the distinct understanding that they do so entirely at their own risk.

Reviews summaryThis skydiving experience deserves a perfect score without reservation. From the moment I boarded the small plane, my heart started racing. Looking down at the lakes and mountains through the plane window, the whole land was like a three-dimensional map spread out beneath my feet. The lake water sparkled with blue-green light under the sun, and the mountains stretched out in layers to the horizon. At that moment, I already felt it was worth the price of admission. When the door opened and the cold wind rushed into the cabin, my mind went almost blank. The moment I flipped out, the world suddenly became quiet, with only the sound of the wind and the thrill of rapid descent. Those few dozen seconds of free fall completely defied my imagination—not fear, but a kind of extremely pure release. The blue sky was close at hand, and the lake and town were rapidly enlarging below. The shock of it all is truly indescribable. After the parachute opened, the scene suddenly became gentle. The sun shone on my face, the distant snow-capped mountains were clearly visible, and the lake lay quietly like a mirror between the valleys. To be able to skydive in such weather, I really have to thank God for giving me an almost perfect blue sky. The wind was steady, the visibility was clear, and the visibility was excellent, making this experience the most beautiful stroke on my life's bucket list. The instructor was very professional and gave me a full sense of security throughout the whole process. From equipment inspection to aerial guidance, he was very careful. The footage was also very exciting. When I watched the video, I truly realized that I had accomplished something that I once thought was unattainable. This is not just an extreme activity, but an experience of dialogue with oneself. When my feet touched the ground again, the sense of accomplishment and emotion was something I will remember for the rest of my life. I sincerely recommend that anyone who wants to experience it book early, as the price is usually more affordable and the time is more flexible. Spots are very popular when the weather is good, so the sooner you book, the more at ease you will be. Highly recommended. If there is a must-do list in life, skydiving is definitely worth a spot. Safety: Perfect score Experience: Perfect score Instructor: Better for girls🤣 Equipment: Very new
The Best Experience Ever!!! I did 12000ft with NZONE and the whole experience was so smooth. The crew was very nice and encouraging throughout. Amazing tandem masters. Definitely felt like once in a lifetime experience although I might do it again if I ever visit Queenstown :) Totally worth the money.
My tandem master Tibi was great, he explained the view when we were on the plane and when we were in the air. He is very well trained and took a lot of great photos and videos of the entire skydive. The view on top was magnificent and it's truly a one-in-a-lifetime experience. Highly recommend it to anyone who is considering skydiving.
Excellent experience with 12000 ft! They did many rounds of briefing of safety measures to ensure you are well knowledgeable! The registration, husband transport from Queenstown. All is excellent and Smooth experience!
A must-try adventure of a lifetime — an experience you won’t regret. The only downside was that the video service purchased on-site didn’t capture the full footage due to a GoPro malfunction. However, the team sincerely offered a refund, which is commendable. It includes shuttle service from the city to the airport.
It's a thrill you must experience in life. Falling rapidly above the flying clouds, experiencing a few seconds of weightlessness, a burst of adrenaline, a nearly 60-second high-altitude dive, and finally a perfect landing while watching the beautiful scenery. I recommend buying the extra photo!
It was my first time playing, and I originally bought a 9,000-foot model. When I was at the service center, the clerk persuaded me to try a higher model, so I later changed it to 12,000 feet. As it turned out, it was a pity not to buy the 15,000-foot model! The coach's full companionship and pre-trip education will make you feel at ease. It is recommended to purchase photography services on site. The instructor will use GoPro to help you record your mood before and after the parachute jump and the complete process. My instructor is Nick. I like him very much. He is very humorous and professional.
The instructors are very professional and serious about filming, and it's also very safe, making it a worthwhile trip! The location is convenient, the store is easy to find, and they provide transportation to the drop-off point. Photos and videos were received within an hour. Klook's price is cheaper than local prices, highly recommended!
You will receive a text message and email notification 30 minutes before the scheduled time to let you know whether today's skydiving will go ahead as scheduled. If the weather does not permit, they will reschedule your trip. It is best to reserve 2-3 days in Queenstown, otherwise you may not be able to skydive if the wind is too strong, the clouds are too thick, or it rains.
Best experience ever! A big thank you to my instructor Tain – such a gentle, reliable, and attentive guy. On the plane, he kept checking and tightening my harness, but I was so eager to jump: ‘My turn, my turn! I'm going to enjoy the world!’ After the parachute opened, he literally gave me a 3D geography lesson in the sky – pointing out which town, which lake, which farm, and even where he lives haha. We spun around in the air a lot, and I ended up being the last one in our group to land. At that moment, I suddenly felt that entrusting such an important moment of my life to someone so gentle was also a decision made by the sky for me.
