Really loved the atmosphere in this store. It is a small location so I suggest booking in advanced. You can also see Tokyo Skytree from the shop which makes for cute pictures and easy planning. The instructions were pretty easy and the designs you could choose from were really cute! We did a sake glass and chopstick holder combo.
omggg out of 3 workshops that I took during my trip to Japan, THIS WAS MY FAV 🫶🏻 it's a small crystal shop with the cutest things! the lady is so sweet. minimal English but everything was understandable & we enjoyed this process thoroughly. def recommend to everyone even if you're not an artsy person.
Amazing experience!! I really recommend you to book this activity. You can chose between glass, chopsticks holder, paper weight… There’s design available if you don’t have idea. The processus is simple, you first draw on the glass your design, if you mess up you can erase it, then you’ll start craving. The lady was so nice, she said her english wasn’t the best but all her explications were clear and helpful. She really went above and beyond to take picture of me. I’m very happy with the result :))
The shop was easy to get to and find from the train station (2 min walk). It was a darling little space. There was only us two for our time slot and 2 people later on which mean individual attention. Included in the price you got to choose a range of pieces e.g. a glass and chopstick holder. We were given about half the time to draw/trace our design on and were provided with some ideas which was incredibly helpful. Then the rest of the time was spent etching the glass with a small tool. It was really easy to do and it was lovely watching the design come together. The tool couldn't hit your fingers and there were safety glasses available if you wanted, so all felt very safe! The lady was lovely and very encouraging. Would 100% recommend as a unique craft.
This is my second time doing this activity, this time with my 12 y/o niece! Such a cute and cosy space, and lovely host as always 💗Very clear instructions and we had soooo much fun! So happy we have unique and beautiful souvenirs
I can't praise this class enough. The owner was so lovely and there were so many options for things to make. I chose an izakaya style glass. You could free style decorate or use some of the design templates. The selection was amazing and I was so happy with my design - I think it turned out really cute! Thank you so much for today, I had so much fun and will recommend this experience to everyone in Tokyo, it was really priceless~!
I had an incredibly fun time and would 100% recommend the workshop. The woman who instructed me was so friendly and helpful; as a solo participant, I felt completely at ease. It's just the right thing if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Tokyo for a bit. P.S. While engraving the glass, you get a perfect view of the Tokyo Skytree.
Clear instructions and patient instructor :) Participants can choose from different handmade glass objects: a single glass, a sake cup and wooden box set, bowl and chopstick holder set, etc. They have sample patterns to copy or you can draw your own.
A very sweet moment ☺️. My partner and I were warmly welcomed into the very pretty shop with so many beautiful things to look at! We were guided with patience and kindness to create our designs and then engrave our glasses. We are very happy with the result and the moment we shared all together at the shop! Thank you very much 🙏🏻
The perfect experience was winding down and relaxing. The shop's ambience was peaceful & cozy, like a fairytale book 🍀 I did my own design, but design references and images were provided if you don't have one. The teacher also patiently explained instructions on properly carving the glasses, and the tools are very safe! The teacher is also a Chiikawa fan..! 🤗Thank you for letting me pose with your cute Hachiware lamp! Thank you for teaching me, it was fun (^∇^)
