Beautiful, enthusiastic, cheerful staff, knows English
Although they only offered services in Japanese and English, the staff was incredibly attentive and helpful in assisting me with my kimono selection. After expressing my preferences for purple and lace, they went above and beyond to help me find the perfect one. Some makeup, hair styling, and accessories cost extra, but I felt it was worth it! The hairstylist was also very sweet and kept complimenting me 🤣, which was a great mood booster ❤️. I was really satisfied because my hairstyle was absolutely gorgeous ❤️. Finally, I recommend booking for the 9 AM opening if possible. My daughter and I were able to change in a private room. When we returned to return the kimonos around 3 PM, it was super crowded 😵💫, and everyone had to squeeze into one room to change 😵. Just a tip for everyone ❤️.
The workers were so kind and so talented! Seeing their artistry come to life was so fascinating to watch. They made the whole experience feel so welcoming and accessible, and we were really grateful for their thoughtfulness.
the address leads you do a different location so make sure to look up the right place that you chose. Their service was amazing! it took about an hour to pick our yukatas, get our hair done, and dress in them. They only speak a little English but are patient and understanding. They accept day of walk-ins too which my sister did since she was unsure at first and didn’t want to make a reservation. I would love to wear it again if I could. I had a great time. I went to the sensoji location and it’s a short walk to the shrine. you can just go through the dori for shade or on the Main Street to get there. it’s super close! Highly recommended
Feeling local in Tokyo, it was a great experience. Too many layers of clothing but it was fun and worth trying out to have a feel of the culture.
Wonderful experience. The employees helped me pick out color coordinated pieces to create a stunning look. They were very meticulous when putting the kimono on me and made sure it was perfect. I felt so pretty. They didn’t speak much english but we were able to get by well enough.
Although the clerk doesn't speak Chinese and English and isn't very good at it, the service attitude is pretty good~~~ If you have difficulty choosing, he will help recommend a style that suits you. I personally feel that the most basic price of clothes is better, retro modern or more. The first-level style looks much better. Although many accessories and styles cost extra, I personally think it is quite worth it. I am very satisfied with the final result. It is so cute. If I want to wear a kimono or yukata next time, I will consider it again. This one 🤍
