Ghibli Museum is simply amazing. It is a fair distance out of the heart of Tokyo which was perfect as it made a fantastic day outing as it is based in a beautiful park. There was a great range of things to see, do and interact with. I especially loved the exclusive animated movie. I wish the cafe was a little more themed but the prices in the cafe and gift shop were more than reasonable.
an absolutely amazing experience at studio Ghibli museum!!!!! we recommend going to see the movie first whatever you do - there is a limit on seats so get there as soon as possible is best. we spent about 2 hours there and we moved quickly (we did enter at 4pm and it closes at 6pm). you could easily spent 4 hours here if you look at everything in detail! warning, you won't know the entry time until you redeem the ticket
Hands down, our best activity during our stay in Tokyo! Staff there were amazing! We missed our session by hours (totally my fault) but we were still given an “exception” to come in. The experience was amazing, although taking pictures inside are not allowed but worth it! We will definitely go back here someday!
At the entrance of the museum, a whole child's heart erupted, and the scene was so delicate that people couldn't help thinking about each animation plot. In the museum (photographing is strictly prohibited), upon confirmation of the ticket service (registered purchase, passport verification required), after verification, they will give a movie film ticket (not selectable, random). "Girl", this time I got "The Tomb of Fireflies", my sister got "Hall's Moving Castle", and I was very touched (my sister has already cried. The design and linking lines in the museum are all hand-drawn designs. It ’s like animation In the plot, I saw the studio of the simulation master Hayao Miyazaki ... if it was not occupied by the crowd, otherwise there would be no problem to spend a day in this area. It is worth going. Buy at KLook, Narita It's really convenient for the airport to get a physical purchase ticket.
Enter the Ghibli Museum as if in another world. Good, inspiring. Because entry tickets are limited to order 1-2 months in advance starting on the 11th of every month, because visitors are always busy (yesterday we entered Friday at 10 am and already queued). This museum is an art season on how to make Japanese animated films, which turns out to be complicated and inspiring. Inside the museum photos are not allowed, but outside they are allowed. Thanks Klook for providing this service and making it easier for us :)
Worry free transaction. Quick confirmation of purchase. Easily redeemed the Ghibli Museum Ticket at the redemption booth in Narita Terminal 2. Just be ready with your passport for them to verify your identification, both in the redemtion booth at the airport as well as at the Ghibli Museum entrance. Very satisfied that the ticket that was given was for the 10am timeslot. ^-^
This museum is beautiful. If you are a Ghibli fan, it is the place you must visit. We got the 4pm schedule. It is nice that we got to see what it looks like in both day and night time view outside the bulding.
it was a very nice experiencce. my two daughters really enjoyed it. quite far from our place of stay but thanks to the train system of japan. easy access also just show your passport upon entry with your ticket.
