Hong Kong International Food Tasting Festival 2026 will be grandly held from April 3 to 7, 2026, at Hall 1ABCD of the Convention and Exhibition Centre! The expo brings together international specialty ingredients, quality foods, and local souvenirs, featuring a ""try before you buy"" concept, allowing attendees to try global cuisine from nearly 500 booths.
The venue will have several themed zones, including the ""Yum Yeah Market,"" showcasing nearly 20 stalls of specialty coffee, tea, and hand-shaken drinks; the immersive ""Food and Fun Pavilion,"" featuring popular cartoon character foods and exclusive collectibles from various countries; the ""Meilok Store"" vintage area, which recreate the nostalgic store of Hong Kong from the 70s and 80s, bring over 30 types of nostalgic snacks and toys to bring back childhood memories; and the ""The World of Whimsy Carnival,"" featuring booth games and a variety of family-friendly arcade games, suitable for all ages.
The expo will also simultaneously host the ""The Sliver Mic Concert,"" inviting classic singers and artists performing numerous timeless hits, enhancing the festive atmosphere for attendees with a rich program including children's music and dance performances. Coinciding with a five-day public holiday, the expo provides a one-stop destination for food, drinks, and entertainment, allowing citizens to enjoy their holidays!

- Ticketing Note: Free admission for Senior Citizen Cardholders (JoyYou Card is not applicable), disabled persons, and children below 1 meter in height.

I felt there weren't many exhibitors at this year's food expo, and the categorization of exhibitors wasn't very well-organized. There was also a limited variety of products, which wasn't very appealing. In fact, dedicating space to claw machines didn't seem appropriate. The original intention of a food expo is to showcase food, so cooked food and dried seafood/grocery stalls should be separated. On the positive side, there were plenty of places for customers to sit and many tables to enjoy their food. It would also be great to add more variety to the snack areas to attract more customers and encourage purchases. Suddenly including beauty exhibitors felt very strange. Entry was relatively smooth, and there weren't long queues, so the overall experience was comfortable. Some snacks were quite appealing, but others were a bit pricey. For snacks, many major brands were absent. I hope that next time, cooked food, snacks, and dried seafood can be separated. I don't recommend including beauty products, as it feels a bit odd. To be successful, the event needs to stick to its theme. Having too many unrelated categories makes it strange.
There's a wide variety of food options available, catering to different preferences. You can also find plenty of food to eat on-site, as well as games suitable for children.
The candied oysters were delicious! The beef offal was decent, but the owner was very kind and offered more tripe. Many people were lining up for the Peking duck, probably because it was the only place selling it; the taste was just okay. The 3M water filter cartridges were cheap. Overall, it was good. I bought quite a bit of wine, and for most of them, you could try before you buy. The snacks were relatively average in taste, and there weren't many unique drink options. The award-winning milk tea was really good! There were many Buddha's Temptation dishes available, but I wasn't very interested. Some items were eligible for the Mastercard lucky draw, and you could also use The Club points to redeem vouchers as cash. Most stalls didn't require a long wait.

Buying tickets on Klook is great, I'll buy tickets on Klook more often.
Because it was raining heavily, I originally thought of taking the kids to shelter from the rain. To my surprise, the venue's setup was quite good and pleasant to walk through. There was a good distance between the stalls, so even with a crowd, it was easy to navigate, making it quite comfortable. In addition to the usual frozen meats, ginseng, and dried seafood, there were also many young, local, passionate brands, offering things like chili sauce, coffee beans, and Silvermine Bay milk tea, which are definitely worth supporting! 👍🏻 The food from the familiar stalls was just okay, but there were also several free arcade games to try out, which kept both adults and kids entertained for a few hours. 🩷 We spent $300 and got a big bag of Wah Yuen snacks for our family to take back overseas, which was a super pleasant surprise! 🤭
Buying tickets on-site is very convenient and quick! Plus, you immediately receive an admission QR code, there's themed food, and a wide variety of wines!
There are many snacks and dried seafood, but not many big brands. There isn't much to do besides walking around. The corridors are wide, making for a comfortable stroll.✨
Lots of tasting booths, and the prices are reasonable.
