The original novel series of The Apothecary Diaries has surpassed 40 million copies in cumulative sales. The anime adaptation is based on the hugely popular light novel written by Natsu Hyūga and illustrated by Touko Shino. The story follows Maomao, a young girl from the red-light district who is highly skilled in deduction and possesses extensive knowledge of pharmacology. Originally working as an apothecary in the pleasure quarter, she is abducted by human traffickers while gathering herbs and sold into the imperial inner court as a low-ranking servant (court lady). Her talents are accidentally discovered by Jinshi, the eunuch in charge of managing the inner court. Can I buy the tickets on site? There is a ticketing counter on site open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM for those who have not purchased tickets. Official online ticket platforms are also available 24 hours.
