• Applicants holding a passport issued by Taiwan must ensure their passport includes their National Identification Number to be eligible for the ETA.
• You cannot apply for or use a UK ETA if any of the following apply:
• Individuals with a criminal record, or those who have previously been refused entry or a visa to the UK.
• For Asia Region: After booking is completed, Operator will contact you within 4 hours during business hours (01:00–10:30, UTC+0) or within 12 hours during non-working hours.
• For Other Regions: Operator will contact you within 12 hours (all times) after your booking is completed.
• Avoid booking flights or hotels until your ETA is approved.
• An ETA does not guarantee entry, and border officers reserve the final right to request additional documents and decide on admission.
• ETA issuance is at the sole discretion of the UK government, and a refusal will require the applicant to apply for a standard UK visa.
