🌊 Wonderful Great Ocean Road Tour with Chris! 🌿 An unforgettable day with our guide Chris—warm, talkative, and full of stories. He served handmade tea, breakfast, and lunch with care, making the trip feel personal and relaxed. His storytelling brought every scene to life, with no dead air and perfect time management. The rainforest walk was a standout—Chris explained different plants and their roles in the ecosystem, adding depth and sensory richness to the experience. Safe driving, great pacing, and thoughtful touches made this tour truly enjoyable and value-packed. Highly recommended!
We had a fantastic time onboard this reverse tour of great ocean road! Kiwi (Chris) was such a joy to have on board as our guide and driver. He is knowledgeable on the history of all the tour sites we visited. Normally tours don’t accommodate those with an upset tummy, but kiwi made sure everyone on board was always comfortable. Definitely a must go for first timers as the views are incredible and you beat the crowds when going in reverse. We left and returned on time. We saw everything we wanted to see including koalas and kangaroos! The accommodation is quite comfortable with wifi and charging ports ( Type A ). Amazing experience for a good price! Make sure to keep warm as it can be very chilly and windy! Bring your own water bottle as there are places to fill it up for free
highly recommend the reverse road trip , start the day visiting Colac town, then headed over to Lockhart gorge and 12 apostles. the pinic at Melba Gully was great. thanks to Anthony who was a great guide and special thanks for the coffee station during breaks.
It was a wonderful experience. Athen brought a lot of fun and information to our tour! He was very considerate. He noticed us when and where we could fill up our water and location of toilets so that we got plans for that. The weather was amazing! All destination were fascinating except The Great Otway National Park. It was definitely not my cup of tea. It was more likely to be a stream instead of a waterfall and I could not see the view of the ocean like what had been shown on the website.
This day trip was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Great Ocean Road, the Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, the forest park, Apollo Bay, and wild koalas and kangaroos. Our guide and driver, Joel (nicknamed M.J.), was a very kind older gentleman. He was full of energy the whole way, telling us interesting facts about the various sights and animal encyclopedias. The music playlist in the car was also great!
I was nervous about booking a solo tour, but choosing this one was the right decision. First, our guide, Anthony, prioritized safety and was an excellent driver. He maintained appropriate speeds and was very dedicated to his job. I would definitely book with him again. The lunch provided in the national park was delicious, including sandwiches, fruit, and drinks. It offers better value than other tour companies, and I was very satisfied. The reverse route was a great idea. We arrived at the important cliffs at the perfect time. It was relaxing because we avoided the rush of other tour buses. A major benefit of the reverse route was avoiding crowded small restrooms at each stop. We also had frequent restroom breaks. Anthony always made sure the temperature in the vehicle was comfortable. Even when many tour buses were gathered, it was easy to spot our company's bus because the name was clearly written on it. Others seemed to have a hard time finding their buses. I don't recommend the Great Southern Hotel as a meeting point; it's chaotic with many guides. Since no companies use QR codes, you might feel anxious trying to find your bus there. I would love to use this service again. There were times I couldn't understand the English due to my own issues, so it would be helpful if there was an option to download a language app before departure. I am extremely satisfied!
Perfect trip! The itinerary was tight and we returned on time. Our guide, Joel, was excellent and introduced everything to us throughout the whole trip (although as an English language novice, I couldn't understand it, but it didn't hinder the whole trip). The most exciting part was discovering wild koalas and kangaroos on the Great Ocean Road. Looking forward to the next time!
This trip was incredibly impressive. The guide was attentive, and everyone was friendly. I managed to visit every place on the itinerary, and I'm so glad I chose this plan.
I don't speak much English, but they were very helpful. I was participating alone, but I was very happy that everyone took pictures for me. I was able to see a double rainbow, which made for a wonderful memory.
I’m glad I did the reverse day tour of the Great Ocean Road. We managed to visit all the listed spots without having to wait too long, since most other tours go in the opposite direction. The sandwich provided for lunch was delicious, and we had different options to choose from. Our guide — Ben, if I remember correctly — was very accommodating. He offered flexibility with the stops and gave us helpful tips on how to explore each spot efficiently. I just wish we could have stayed longer at some places, but I understand that’s not really possible due to time constraints.
