I was nervous about finding the meeting point at first, but it turned out to be easy. The tour itself was lovely the guide was warm, patient, and answered every question with genuine care. The sunflower field was the highlight for me! Standing among thousands of bright blooms felt peaceful and almost dreamlike. Visit to Phra Prang Sam Yod. It felt calm, with far fewer monkeys than I expected, making it a pleasant place to explore.
The sunflower field was unforgettable. Standing among thousands of golden blooms felt good, almost as if the flowers were turning toward us! The train gliding over the water at Pa Sak Dam was just as magical, and we were lucky to capture a few lovely photos. The itinerary was smooth and enjoyable, with many gentle, beautiful moments throughout the day. The restaurant served local Thai dishes, very tasty, though a few were a bit spicy.
I've always wanted to see some of the beautiful scenery in Thailand that's only available during the winter. I've been to the Red Lotus Sea before, so I really wanted to go see the sunflower fields and the floating train, but I always felt like the transportation was really inconvenient and I couldn't understand Thai. I didn't expect AK to offer this new tour!!! Since I already had a trip to Bangkok planned for November, I immediately booked this tour. It was really worth it! It's as beautiful as the pictures online! The sunflower field is ridiculously vast, and the park is well-maintained with lots of photo platforms. This train doesn't stop in the middle of the dam; it's a regular train that stops at a small station near the dam, and then you walk up to the railroad bridge to wait for the train to pass. I saw freight trains and regular vehicles. I thought it was very interesting and I was able to experience more locations. Many Thai people also take pictures on this railroad bridge, which is interesting, but it's not too crowded, which is great. This tour is great, the attractions are places I've never been and are hard to get to on my own, so it's perfect for me.
I had previously visited some of the important historical sites in Ayutthaya. This time, the trip to Wat Choeng Tha in Ayutthaya, which I hadn't been to before, plus the scenery, historical sites, and food in Chonburi were very different. I felt that it had more historical and cultural atmosphere. Visiting two provinces in one trip is also very suitable for people who want to see UNESCO World Heritage sites but don't want to keep seeing temples or historical sites. Moreover, the historical sites in Chonburi are museums that are still in use. The artifacts inside the King Narai's Palace amazed me. There was even a royal mummy that could be viewed up close, which was quite shocking. The itinerary was fun, photogenic, and smooth. The tour guide was very friendly and answered every question. Taking the train was fast, only taking a little over an hour. It was comfortable to get on the train and take a nap. It wasn't hot in November, and there was air conditioning on the train and indoors. The whole day was incredibly satisfying.
Joining the AK GO Tour to Lopburi and Ayutthaya was a smooth and calming experience. I especially enjoyed Phra Narai Palace — it felt less like an ancient ruin and more like an open-air museum where time slowed beautifully. Lunch at MadMeee was memorable, with local dishes I’d never tasted in Bangkok. The salted eggs were a pleasant surprise, which the guide explained were prepared using a special local method. The entire day felt balanced and unhurried, and I returned to Bangkok feeling genuinely refreshed!
Way more fun than expected!!! First, travel by train and then transfer to a minibus, a great way to experience in-depth tourism. The weather was great, the scenery was beautiful and very photogenic. The photos made the sky look especially blue, like being in a Nordic country. The breeze was comfortable and not hot at all. The water train is very worth coming to!!! It's really like walking in a water world wonder. The tour guide will also use Chinese to introduce the stories of past dynasties, local geography, etc., which helped me understand Thailand better. This itinerary is highly recommended!!!
