What to expect

Sankoin Temple is the only temple in Tokyo that offers "Take no Gosho Ryu Shojin Ryori" (Buddhist vegetarian cuisine), inherited from the imperial aristocratic culture of female Buddhist priests in Kyoto.

Using seasonal vegetables and fruits, the cuisine is simple and elegant. Combined with Zen explanations and a tranquil garden, it offers a cultural experience to calm the mind and body.
